[Idea] Dinosaurs!

Post » Thu Mar 11, 2010 12:25 am

The idea is that after mass extinctions or global disasters, prehistoric life returns to reclaim its thrown. I have a video as proof.

Thrown should be throne.

But! it would be super too see one of those long-necked dinosaurs outside megaton. Anything is possible. I wonder if I could make an intense dino vs. dino fight scene?

I plan to make some awesome animations. I will release this in a couple days depending on how far I decide to take it.

I tried to add a couple more animations, but it ended badly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg76qecU-8w

They don't even really attack, and they don't seem to take an active role in bringing the fight to the megaton settlers. I think I will try to match the Feral Ghoul animations rather than the dog's to see if it works better.

I'm sorry but those are not dinosaurs...
I'm not sure what they are.
But they are terrifying.

Make it look just like a squirrel and I am happy ;)

To be honest, even if it was the most spectacular dinosaur ever created (better than even Jurassic Park) to be downloaded, I personally wouldn't download it. I just don't see it fitting into my personal game experience, that is my only reason :) I am sure there are many others that would love to see it though, so go ahead and keep working on it... but you better get back to those squirrels soon or :toughninja: (Kidding of course :D )

Have you tried the Deathclaws animations? I think they could work with dinosaurs :)

How about using the T-Rex skelleton from the museum of History?:)

Rig it to the animations and you've got something more.
