DirectX on PC, OpenGL on MAC. It's not funny at all, this resourse is about Crysis games, not fanboys.

"Apple soldier" )))))))))))))))

Where's the best graphics?

X360 or PS3? Look at my video.

hahaha

P.S. If you don't know OpenGL was part of DirectX a long time. But Direct 3D is already standart on PC by decision of Microsoft and hardware giants.

As a PC user running Win7 with DX11 hardware I would say that for me it is not much of an issue. If what he says was true and I was an XP user then OpenGL would be the way to go.

I remember the hype for DX10 and how it was gonna bring better graphics and faster frame rates yada yada - only to find the improvements were slight if non-existent. Again DX11 made similar claims about better graphics and faster frames but I have yet to see this claim realised. Tessellation looks like it's gonna be the white elephant of DX11. I have only tried it in Metro2033 and it offered barely noticeable graphics differences for a hefty chunk of your FPS so yeah, it's all marketing bs.

The problem is no one is making OpenGL games.

OpenGL. Any of you seen the Unigine demos? they look great on either mode, and they run on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

OpenGL. Mac OpenGl support is horrible (they're still at 2.1 afaik): they don't represent OpenGL's abilities any more than DirectX 5 represents everything DirectX is capable of.
