I will do the same if I get a response via the Nexus
Hello Everyone-- I'm posting here thanks to the E-mail sent to me.
Wow! That is a surprise to hear that someone took the time needed to repair the mod. It's always bothered me that our team dispersed into the working world before we really got a chance to polish and repair the corruption issue post-launch. Unfortunately, our lead programmer/scripter was the first to be employed. Vorians definitely has our blessing in releasing a patch to fix our mod issues.
I'd first like to apologize on behalf of our team for anyone who's been caused undue headache by what was our first stab at using the Oblivion Editor. The project itself was actually a Project we completed in roughly two months, including the time it took us to learn the Oblivion editor. It was always our goal to create a packaged start-to-finish experience (sort of like a mini-expansion) and polish the balance/rewards as much as possible, and though we tried to keep the mod clean, nobody had ever thought that the mod could be broken in a way that would permanently harm anyone's save file.
We'd planned on releasing a few more patches for minute balance after gaining more feedback-- but the more serious crash/corruption issues caused by the file halted our progress. After our head scripter was employed, he had no time to look at the mod, and several forum-goers had declared that the mod would need to be remade from the ground up to be sanitary, we had declared the project an experiment that met an unhappy end, and tried to keep anyone else from damaging their save files by using it.
In that time, we have all since graduated college and gone on to jobs that have severely cut our free-time to work on future projects, or any extensive update to FBM.
Vorians has all of our collective gratitude for finding a way to fix the mod, and most definitely our permission and thanks for uploading those fixes. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to get a hold of us, and it brings me some measure of comfort to know that people out there did enjoy the story, and it was not a complete loss.
