Disable and MarkForDelete Not Working on Furniture Items

Post » Sat Mar 22, 2014 3:07 pm

I can't believe the MASSIVE OVERSIGHT that the devs did not think about being able to move, remove furniture items in Skyrim. Heck EverQuest was smart enough to add that feature.

For some reason the console commands for Disable and MarkForDelete isn't working on any furniture objects.

I know they're working on ESO, but is there gonna be a patch for Skyrim to add the feature that will allow is to remove/move items inside our houses?????

I dunno what to do, tried researching to no avail on removing items.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Beth is not making ESO. Different devs. The console is an unsupported feature for testing, they won't fix anything with it as it's not intended to be used in normal circumstances.

I don't know if that is what you looking for:

Take a look here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/477049-renovate-your-house-with-console/

The thing is that video is from 2011, so maybe the patches have altered the code a bit, so you can't (move-delete) items anymore. !!!!!

Crap, figures. Well, thanks anyway. I had to start over, go back to the old save and it's working out fine. Learned the fact I should build the structures first until I can't anymore due to land size limit and then started building furnitures. Worked out great.
