Disable "Legendary" Enemies?

Post » Mon Nov 30, 2015 4:54 am

Is there a way to disable the "Legendary" enemies? For me, they aren't fun or even very interesting. They are just a very annoying bullet sponge that drops enchanted gear. At first i thought they were just an occasional spawn, but they are literally everywhere.

Also, is there a way to stop the enchanted gear from dropping? It's great for scrapping, but the gear seems unbalanced, sometimes borderline "cheat mode". Earlier today i got a "Neverending Hunting Rifle", yeah, chamber that to .50 cal and never have to worry about bullets again. I don't use it, can't scrap it, so i have it stashed (i don't like selling rare or unique items).

Neverending weapons still use ammo. You just don't have to reload.

Lowering the difficulty will reduce legendary spawns. Beyond that, you'll have to wait for a mod.

It's not. OP mentions that they can't scrap them.

Fallout 4 Nexus mods allow you to change all these things. Craft ammo, guns, infinite PA power, more settlement sizes and objects to use. ETC.

There ought to be compatability PC or otherwise from what I hear.

Use caution when using plugin based mods before the Fallout 4 GECK comes out. For Skyrim they were all made in a not-so-safe manner and caused a lot of people huge problems. We believe that is the case now as well, so it's recommended avoiding them until they can be properly made with the GECK.

I love coming across legendary enemies no matter how silly they may seem. I will say however that I store almost all of the weapons looted from them.
