Disable WE Wilderness Encounter

I want to start to work on a new mod and have picked a location near Anise's cabin but the spot has a Wilderness Encounter scene that I believe is a static quest, not related to anything major just a local scene. Obviously, I don't want this where I'm going to build. How would I disable this? Wasn't sure deleting it would trigger a cascade of problems with other random WE or what. I could delete the linked references to xmarker headings or delete the WeTriggerScript attached to the WeTrigger.



Help?



Just to comment, this request for assistance would best be placed in the SE CK section but that forum is just a mess at this point. Topics are largely unrelated to actually helping modders create projects and the forum interface itself is still pretty awful. I dread this place closing down but it looks like a lot of us are already posting less and less. That is really a shame too.

You're on to the right idea, but you never want to delete references from the Vanilla game. Your best bet would be to mark them as "Initially disabled." That should stop the scene from functioning.
