Disableing Console?

Is there a command to disable the console using the Construction set?

Literal interpretation:
The CS does not even have a console.

Intended interpretation:
No, the CS does not have anything in it that can disable the use of the console. That can only be done via editing the Ini file.

As Echonite mentioned, no, it's not possible via the CS.

My question, however, is why? Why would you want to disable the console in-game?

I assume you are concerned about the player skipping/breaking part of your quest. Either redesign so that this isn't an issue or simply accept that a player may do this. Essentially, it isn't your problem. :)

Classy. In any case, I can't imagine the linguistic gymnastics your mind went through to get that 'literal' interpretation.

If you have Vista installed - no problem as Vista 'uses a program called Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver that prevents the tilde key from working - in order to actually use the key you must first uninstall the device.
This must be done almost everytime you play a game that uses the tilde key to activate it's console as Vista re-installs the program after every log off or when you plug in a USB device.
