I disagree with children.

At the Sheogorath shrine the nord worshipper says: I wish there were children here. Scrumptious, darling children. I haven't eaten in so long.

I didn't even notice the lack of children until I also noticed the lack of mirrors, toilets, and windows (in Morrowind). Children were just one of those things that weren't there, but weren't really necessary. I do think it would be nice and the freaks mentioned that would want only to kill them and do Vivec knows what else to them are far and few between.

The presence of sewers & the lack of toilets..... yeah  :yuck:

There were windows in Morrowind, you just couldn't see through them.

There was one child in Oblivion - The Adoring Fan.

...As in Oblivion.

Tgoodchild believes children are our future, but does not want them spoiling all our fun.

This is not a critical feature in my mind. I would definately kill children if they were around. Maybe even raise their tiny corpses to serve as tiny servants in my necromancer's lair. If I can't do that, I'll find something else to do, like letting a mudcrab attack me for a 1/2 to get the proper number of levels on heavy armour skill!

What happens if you kill their parents? It would be horrible to see a child walk around telling you that daddy said mommy went on a long vacation.

They go to the nearest Chapel who will offer to take them in?

Most people don't just see a little kid walking around without a parent and think: "Hey, look at that lonely starving child... Now what was I thinking of before? Ah yes, Mudcrabs."

Maybe not most people, but people who spend a lot of time thinking about Mudcrabs will.

I cant stand the things, those ugly creatures. Still I hear the meats rather tastey.

(The mudcrabs, not children, lol)

That's alright, we can always use more beggars. Who else are we going to solicit information out of and give charity to?

I atleast don't want any Fallout 3 style children. I hate those immortal bastards. And since there would be some legal issues (as far as I've heard) if children were killable, I really don't want them in the game at all. They are just annoying. Not that I enjoy killing children, but those rainy days when I decide to go on a sudden rampage, I want to kill everyone, and I mean everyone. Oblivions friggin "essential" npcs kinda had the same annoying effect. But at the very least they could be knocked down. Those pesky children are completely impervious even to small nuclear bombs.
