Disapearing Player Map markers

I've been having continuing problems with my player map markers disappearing. I've already used TES4edit to make sure that no mod is editing cell 3,3. Without a replacement map, originally, I could get the player position marker and the markers on the compass to show up (I'm not sure when the other red, blue and green markers went off the maps, but it was prior to this). However, having a map re placer gets rid of the player position marker as well. Finally, just recently, for no apparent reason (i.e I wasn't loading up any more mods or fiddling with anything at the time) the remaining markers disappeared of my compass.

The location markers are working fine.
Anyone have any Idea what could be causing this?

I noticed my SI Portal map marker disappeared as well.
I forgot exactly how I solved this.

I think I just reset some setting in the Map mod options, then set it back and the portal became visible again.

I kinda assumed it was a small issue that would be fixed in the next release, I did not realize this was not a known issue.

My load order right now is Map Overhaul Version: 3.3 only my own combat mods (that I made) and MMM.
And I did not make any mods that effect the Maps.

Also, the issue with the markers on my compass went away with a reload (or three), so that may have been a problem with the game rather than the mods.

The map mod I am using is an elven map mod with Elewsyr and NRB applied through Bain. It has no esp so it doesn't show up on load order. I've tried other map mods before and they all still remove the player marker (or don't work).
