Disapointed?

Was this the Q&A we've been waiting for? I was expecting maybe around 100 questions to be answered for the amount of [censored] time they've spent on it.

Rather than get angry, we should all come to the realization as-to Why the interview was so scarse.

My opinion? Like many other RPGs in this generation, Skyrim is all Graphics and Hype.
25 questions answered, and all the info was pretty much a huge disappointment.
Imagine what 100+ questions of disappointment would feel like.

The soul has been torn out, and replaced with "we got dragons and awesome stuff yo!"

Same thing happened to Fallout.
Same thing happened to each Fable sequel.
It's the trend of our gaming generation: Lots'O'Grafx, and no depth or soul. The prettier games look, the more cash they can rake in.

I really thought that they "Got It" with Skyrim.

This post made my brain hurt.

How can you say that Fallout took a hit to quality? I've played all the Fallouts and you know what? I liked the newer FPS versions WAY BETTER.
I mean honestly what are you shooting for? Tabletop gaming? Then go tabletop game!
Min-maxing your thing? Go play vanilla EQ or even WoW (god help that game).
For generations people have wanted a good way to actually simulate humanoid-on-dragon combat in real time instead of the usual "dragon stays static and maybe moves from place to place from time to time" way of doing things.
From the videos this is exactly what has been achieved. So yeah 'We got dragons and stuff'
Personally Im glad you were disappointed. Seems like the game you want has already been made (Morrowind) OR would be incredibly boring.

Pros:
-I thought the tavern brawls thing was interesting.

I wonder how the brawls will be. Usually they are just side games where you sink time in and their not that rewarding. I'm thinking for example of Witcher 2 brawls, where you just kick one guy after the other and get some gold coins in the end.
I wonder what they'll do differently.

love the sound of getting Married..i reakon this will be very amusing!

Bar fights sound great lol.

I'm really not disappointed at all.I think it's going to be the best game i've EVER played. I appreciate it has been made for console and ported to PC (PC gamer here)but i think the PC version will be sweet.(As it will be on the consoles too)

I will admit though, i would LOVE to see more Dx11 features being used.I am a graphics junky and i'm first to admit it,i think amazing graphics really help with imersion.

Decisions Bethesda have made regarding leaving things out or changing the odd thing here and there don't worry me atall. I have complete faith that they know what they'er doing. Look at me as brown nosing if you like ,but thats honestly what i think. Sure the game won't be perfect...but it will be better than any other game out there ;)

But please (pretty please) add some more Dx11 goodness :D :D

Hope you all enjoy the game as much as i will ! :celebration:

(Edit)sorry the last part of my thread went a little off topic)

I'm glad to have learned a few more things, and I don't WANT to know EVERYTHING. They are trying to leave some surprises for us!

I would be lying if I said this rant wasn't rather annoying. I'm thoroughly tired of the incessant [censored]ing about what "wasn't" answered, or how you didn't get the answers you were looking for. HEAVEN forbid if the world doesn't revolve around you! I would rather only have tiny bits of information and save the rest for the actual game play itself. No developer (with any reasonable sense) divulges every aspect of a game before it's released. Some things should only be answered by the user while in-game, it's abundantly more rewarding. So please, for the sanity of those of us who have reasonable logic, stop with the griping over petty details.

I am more statisfied than I expected with the Q&A.
The only argument that I didnt really care for was the one about levitation and mark/recall.
I think Skyrim is going to be a better game then I thought it would be two months ago.
Of course, I really cant judge the game untill Ive sunk a decent amount of hours into playing it.
