Hi. Having a weird issue that's started up lately. Not sure what the deal is, but a lot of my open world building have vanished except the doors.

I've disable and enabled all mods I can think of that deal with textures. Uninstalled and reinstalled skyrim. I'm frankly a loss as to what to do to fix this. Starting new games doesn't seem to help either. I start live another life game, come by boat into Dawnstar, and promptly fall into the water because the dock is gone. And to top it all off, the college of winterhold causes my game to crash to desktop.

Any advice?

Buildings don't vanish like that. If it was a texture issue, your screen would've been filled with exclamation marks. Either something messed up with the building meshes, or you're having load order issues.

Either way, you uninstalled and reinstalled with your mods assortment still present so, the only 100% guaranteed method is to go the long road. This means:

• purge all your mods
• uninstall the game and delete everything inside ./my games/skyrim. Whether you keep your saves or not is up to you. There's a slim chance they may still work.
• physically delete the possibly remaining skyrim folder in ./steam/steamapps/common
• reinstall and redo "the dance".

One more thing:

Leave everything that alters exteriors (structures, buildings, etc) for last. Install, test, then proceed to the next. Otherwise, you risk getting yourself into the same situation.

What you maean with that ??? Has your game working properly before that point ???

Can you remember, if you had installed something lately that does your buildings dissapear ???
