disappearing npc

i have 2 questions

1.) can some explain how to use the wander package I read the wiki and some forums and tried changing the time the wandering takes place, what cell it is in the radius whether it was near the location or near editor location must complete once per a day but to no success can anyone explain it is the simplest form i even tried using other npc wander packs for reference to didn't help.

2.) So while I was working on my npc's wander pack i tested to see if i got it right to find out that some of my npcs disappeared i have tried deleting them and putting them back but it has not worked. Just some info i have three sets of npc a archer a macemen and a swordsmen they all are guards the macemen and swordsmen both have a wander pack the archer does not so if anyone knows anything pleases let me know because i am lost or any suggestions to fix the problem.

Alright mate.. first things first; when you try to do something which in your case seems to be the first time.. keep things simple. Don't turn on must complete once per day and all the bells and whistles. This is probably the reason it doesn't work for you in the first place. Also if possible on a new npc remove the other ai patterns.

Second thing is pretty simple; to create a wander package the npc itself has to wander somewhere. Pick near editor location for now. So you know where you dropped it, it will wander there. Radius 512. 512 is a pretty large area. But not a football-field, so great for testing.

Now to be sure the wander package gets triggered be sure to check the npc's energy level and set it to 60. I nicknamed this coffee levels. At 100 it will wander like a maniac.

This is truely all you have to do to create a wander package. Of course you can do other things like changing the location or adapt it to the other ai patterns.

It sounds like you're trying to add the NPC to a cell from another mod. If that's the case, you need to use http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/De-Isolation_Tutorial, since something from one .esp can't otherwise be used in another.

well you might be right but when i disabled all my mods except the one i am working on every thing is still there so i am wonder if you can combine two mods into one i only have one other mod and that is one i have made and now when i try and save i get "Unable to complete operation due to failure to remove previous file Temp file remains" dont know what that means and both my mods are far from each other allthough it might be possible that i made the wrong one the active file.

I dont quite understand the De-Isolation tutorial other than making a master file but my mod isnt that big
