I wanted my mage to have a set of linked teleport stones. One to a custom worldspace (just a crater), one to the Archmages Quarters (can only use it once you get in normally) and one to a thieves hideout that I thought I might put in Solstheim for the convenience of gathering it's ingredients. But the whole island is so dreary. Either snow or ash. Only the poorest of thieves would be hanging out in that barren area, no body worth robbing from, no towns worth calling that to dispose of loot, just awful. I wandered the whole island and there simply is nowhere attractive. And it's so small. I made the complete circuit then explored the interior in a very short time. Maybe i'll look around the area around Markath instead but I was really disappointed in the look of that Island.
