I have brought Brink whch appears to be a good laugh but even thou i can join friends via invites if i try to connect to a freeplay server online i get a game disconnect after 20-45 seconds in any server i try to join.

I have opened the required ports on 27015, 27016 and 8766 as per instructions i have found on this site and others yet still get the same issue and my PC cannot be seen via those ports when i test them with a port checker.

I am using a BT HomeHub2 and i am not sure if if might be damaged, although i doubt this as i can run every other game i have with no issues online.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.

I have made sure the hubs firmware is up to date and even done a reset of the hub but still no luck.

Any help appreciated.

so far, opening steam as admin, and yea, opening ports, and letting it through the windows firewall seems to help a litle bit.

as other posts have gone, i have had no problem with fps at the moment, getting at least 75 fps constant.

text glitches, yea, get them..
and ocasionly not being able to find servers, or refreshing just putting the pings to 999 happens,
but, there are games that came out with worse bugs at the begining...
