Now, I imagine for long journeys this wouldn't be too practical, but for shorter trips, walking is brilliant! I just took a nice leisurely stroll from Cheydinhal to Lord Rugdumph's manor, and it was really peaceful and relaxing. I was really able to pay attention to the beautiful details of the world that sometimes I take for granted and just become a blur in the background. The carefully placed Clouded Funnel Caps, the stalks of Motherwort, the beautiful tapestries in Rugdumph's manor, the pictures on the wall, the pieces of silver aligned on the tables, the beautifully knit rugs, etc. I've seen all these things in the past, but it was extra nice to just be walking slowly past them and admiring them as I went. Really gave me a sense of "wow, this game is amazingly crafted".
I know I probably sound crazy, but this was really enjoyable for me. Try it sometime! If you don't already.
So what do you say? Do you RUN or WALK?
