Definitely one of the best trailers I've ever seen. I'm still taking it all in but my favorite part is the dragonshout. That totally came out of nowhere. Also, that's the loudest I've had my speakers in a long time.

NIRNROOT!

also this trailer was awesome, anyone else get chills/hair stand up on neck when he did the dragon shout?

That was the moment I thought the trailer was over, but when he did that dragon shout, and the familliar ES theme kicked in, I literally jumped off my seat and watched the rest of the trailer standing in front of my computer with my hands in the air. Oh god, that was awesome.

I love the sound that the Dragon makes as it breathes fire - it is exactly what I was hoping for - something new, yet what you would expect to hear.

Superb job Mark Lampert! :foodndrink: :foodndrink: :foodndrink: :foodndrink: :foodndrink:

I wholeheartedly agree that the water does indeed appear off, err... well, it looks bad. Real bad. Bethesda undoubtedly realizes this, and will change the water before the game is released. They still have well over 8 months to go, and fixing water should be a fairly high priority.

Awesome new concept art as well!! Love it!

http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/9339/screenshot20110224at110.png from the trailer looks curiously like a Roman legionnaire... I'm hoping thats what they're going for with the Imperial Legion.

I hope that as well! :D

Glad you guys are liking it. It was a ton of work by a ton of people, not just me, so it's really rewarding to see everyone enjoying it.

In the kinda grassy area (with a few deer in) there seems to be an old stone head in the background, like the head of an old statue. I am seeing to much here? Can someone else let me know what they think?

I don't think that was from the 360, but PC. I haven't seen a 360 game with graphics this nice. I will be shocked (but happy) if the 360 has graphics like this, I expect about half or 3/4 of this setting, but nothing like we saw.

I am curious as to WTF is with the water flowing? Did they hire the person who did the rivers in Civ V? It looks horrible and cartoonish, really takes you out of the game. I hope Bethesda can fix this. I just want to know how did the rivers even get into the trailer? They look really bad.

Actually the GI screenshots were on the 360 (confirmed) so it is safe to assume that footage was from the 360.

i love the remastered morrowind theme.

The theme always follows the same pattern, it was the same with Oblivion just a little less obvious.

Very awesome trailer, very awesome! Though some of the textures where very low-res.

Luckily that's something that modders can deal with fairly easily. Modding in better looking NPCs and shadows, not so.

I just rewatched it HD. I am glad it downloaded for me, I thought I would have to wait forever to watch it. Good job there Bethesda.

To me watching it in HD, this is from the PC correct? I don't think the 360 is capable to do this. I will be shocked if this was all done on the 360 or PS3. Almost makes me to go out and buy a new computer lol. Oh well I will have to settle for the 360. So was that Oblivion music I herd in the middle of the trailer, when they were looking over the various cities or towns? I loved the blood splatter, I wonder if this will be kept in the game or not.

I see we still have no feet when almost going over the cliff. I didn't think I could be excited for Skyrim, but after watching it, I want the game NOW, just like everyone else. I hope the game doesn't disapoint like Oblivion did. Then agian, I ended up loving Oblivion anyways.

My only critique espically watching it in HD for the 2nd time, is the rivers and water. They look horrible compared to Bethesda's other work.

Words can't really describe how amazing that looks.
My friend and I just watched it and we were both stunned.
Everything looks fantastic, the dragon shout sent shivers down my spine.

i was looking through the screen grabs and saw that the guy had a legit beard and half turned around at my brother and excitedly said LEGIT BEARDS!!! while i tumbled backwards and fell over in my computer chair. needless to say, GOTY
