Read comments anywhere off of this forum and the reaction is much more positive. You guys nitpick way too much.

I should just say it looks AWEEEESOME then?
Not everyone here agrees, that why we discuss.
Most of us love the video, we only happen to be discussing its weak points.

The narrator was pretty epic too, his voice is familiar, can't place it at the moment though.

It is Max Von Sydow.

For me, one of my worst fears has somewhat been confirmed. This game will look much more like a third person game than any of the others in the series. Especially because of the textures.

QFT. I really hope Bethesda is reading the comments on other forums so they know how amazingly awesome 99% of us think Skyrim looks!

It isn't good for one to wish their life away, but I want it to be November 11th.

We nitpick because we want TES to be the best game out there. The graphics, as far as I've seen (and yes, I watched the 720p video) are nicer than Oblivion's in general, but there are still issues. Plus, I don't see a big 4-5 year leap in texture quality. But perhaps once we see videos from the PC version, with the better textures, that will all change.

Of course, the game could look like Minecraft and I'd likely still lay down $50-60 or more for the CE version.

Amazing trailer. Only a couple thing I don't like - the water really needs improving and the trees could do with some improvements (though not majorly). Hopefully, Bethesda will read this and know where to improve and improve it.

I though the trailer was awesome. It was hard to contain myself sitting here at work. Excellent job to all the folks at Bethesda. :goodjob: I can't wait to play the game.

E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T !!! Both the game and the trailer... Great work Bethesda! By the way anyone noticed the sound of the dragon at 00:23 scaring the birds? And while breahing fire? I havenever heard a dragon sound similar and really liked this unique sound a lot!!

Cheers, would have bugged me 'til I worked it out. His voice is perfect for the narration.

Yeh Bethesda did really fine this time!
I wasn't so excited even when Oblivion was released :)
That's really nice job there ! I hope we get a combat trailer in the coming months and it's good :)

One thing that I really liked is when he was sprinting the camera was shaking around and you could hear him panting. I hope that's in the game and not just the trailer. It would give it a more panicked feel when being chased by something where you need to sprint.

Did they add the old stuff back to the site? For some reason when I go to elderscrolls.com it asks ne to choose my language but nothing happens when I click English. I can click the other languages though and get into the site?

The trailer was balls out awesome. I really enjoyed it. November is a long time from now. Thanks Bethesda for the great work. I watched the trailer several times and love all aspects of it. It feels like a more cohesive world in the trailer...well except the water.

E3 should bring some good combat stuff I think. I'm guessing that at E3 we'll see combat and the conversation system in action.

Does this look like dark brotherhood armor to anyone else? Very ninja-esque! Looks like he's in Dwemer ruins as well with all the pipes and steam!

That's great actually. I saw plenty of first person views in there as well. Some folks such as myself though prefer to play in third person, and it is great they are paying more attention to it since it was always an after thought at best previously.

I just downloaded it and I'm going to play it in slomo and anolyze every frame.
I saw it on youtube first.
It looks AWSOME. I was never this excited for Oblivion(and I was pretty excited).
I hope they do another five part gameplay demonstration for this game like they did with Oblivion and Fallout 3.

I bet we will get a ton of new information and possibly new videos [fingers crossed for something similar to the 20 minute Oblivion press demo from E3 2006!] from E3. ;)

After watching I am amazed. I have been waiting impatiently in the speculation threads of yesteryear what seems like an eternity and today we are blessed with footage from the next chapter in the series.
the graphics, music, action, art direction and all the other aspects seem pretty impressive bearing in mind its gonna be deeper than any other game.

Huge respect to all the Bethesda staff, long may you make impressive games that set the bar for all others.

Devs, the main issue: WATER. PLEASE, there's ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for the entire game to have Crysis-quality graphics and the water being worthy of the first Unreal. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL YOU WANT, MAKE NICE WATER!

Apart from that....just incredible. I cannot say anything else cos I've been literally speechless for almost one hour after seeing the video. And that's a BIG compliment coming from someone whose first "3D" game was Wolfenstein 3D.

Except if you were using your noggin, you'd realize they're in early alpha stages. How many times does it need to be stated? Graphics are one of the last things that get finalized.

Next we'll hear that they're using sounds from Oblivion as placeholders! Heaven forbid for an Alpha!

I'm all for constructive criticism, but when your question can simply be answered with "Well, it -is- in alpha stages" then there's no need to really voice it is there?
