My load shot out of me like a bullet when the man called the Dragonshout :P

I think this game will be the best for years to come.

Stuff I noticed, but I'd like to see a thread where stuff is listed and kept clean, not a bunch of closed threads.
* Camera shake when running.
* Audible "out of breath" breathing while running heavily.
* Birds, not sure if isolated or flock, but seems grouped.
* Good haze, no distinct switch from ground to skybox.
* Not too ecstatic about the show shader, a bit too blue and contrasty.
* A bit too contrasty when dragon shadows the character, he goes too dark.
* Loved the fire shader. No objections there. Was that heat waves?
* Separate pauldron.
* Horny helmet is a bit meh for me, but hoping there will be others :)
* Hair looked a bit "pisty", but unshaven face looked good.
* Frost smoke on breath? Or just when shouting?
* Can't wait to do some hunting in conifer forests. Looked awesome.
* Night looked way too bright (yet again). Hoping for ambient light control, so also consolers can get darker nights if they wish.
* Ornaments on houses looks great, but a bit overused. Maybe it is a culture theme or something?
* Horse with saddle.
* Some buildings (the mill) appears to have no interior cell, but defined as part of the exterior.
* Chopping wood. There's gotta be a "how much wood" joke in there somewhere :D
* Cloth simulation? Or animation? Not sure, but the female walking in front of the horse near the mill looked good.
* Loved it when it snowed heavily. Great reduction in visibility, as it should be.
* The water "looked" a bit meh, but in this case, feeling the flow is more important than visuals. Shader needs work, or additional foam.
* Hoping for an explanation in lore what a giant actually is. But he had some, ehh, "interesting" ornaments.
* DAMN good looking outfits. Awesome hooded outfit, and the "hood" on the female walking through the village.
* Autumn colors makes the best colors :) Lovely non conifer forest with decent amount of undergrowth.
* Blood on weapon.
* Bard in the tavern. Hope we can actually hear him play as well.
* So you backstab your target, but nobody reacts in plain view? Anim looked good though.
* Fighting moves looks very nice. A couple of neat details there ;)
* Translucency on the dragons wings, just... Whoa... Nice.
* Good looking full plated armor (and sword), I'm guessing elvish design. Sword is a bit too design oriented rather than practical, but hey, it's fantasy and not completely over the top.
* Some "glowy skin" but not as intrusive as it was. Weird how skin glows but not the snowy surface with a bigger reflectance.
* Camera shake on giant walking by and dragon falling to the ground.
* Snow blowing over cliffs.
* Pretty good fantasy visuals when obtaining a new shout.

AWESOME trailer, and a mindblowingly fantastic music track. Any chance of getting this (and variations) without speech and sound effects? :)

I did not see dynamic shadows on this list. Because F**K YEAH, finally.

ON the topic of bright nights, Have you ever played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because once that game hits night you can't see s**t. Literally Pitch black.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is only advisable with http://artistpavel.blogspot.com/2009/04/stalker-complete-2009.html mod.

I think the additionally CS for the Creation engine makes our hearts go yeah!! ^^

Except if you were using your noggin, you'd realize they're in early alpha stages. How many times does it need to be stated? Graphics are one of the last things that get finalized.

Next we'll hear that they're using sounds from Oblivion as placeholders! Heaven forbid for an Alpha!

I'm all for constructive criticism, but when your question can simply be answered with "Well, it -is- in alpha stages" then there's no need to really voice it is there?
The game is released in 9 months. Even if they are still in the alpha stage of development, they have roughly 6 months or so to finalize everything (assets included) before it goes into the beta stage and they start focusing on bugs. If they are able to do that, great. But this is the Official game trailer. The big show. Sure there will be others, but the first gameplay trailer should show the best textures and assets they have if only to impress those who aren't already rabid TES fans.

I noticed that too, but for some reason it didn't register until you said it. Freaking awesome!

Mind = BLOWN. Best trailer I've ever seen! 1:08 literally melted my brain in an awesome overload, and hearing that beautiful TES melody again warmed up my heart; pretty much hyperventilated with this trailer despite the fact that I'm not asthmatic.

Almost crying with excitement :cry:

Current replay count: 4, and counting - I'm sure I'll reach at least 20 in the next hour :D

TODD, I LOVE YOU MAN :cry: forgive us fans, since we get frustrated sometimes, but... I'm speechless :thumbsup:

Anyone else curious why there are no argonians, khajiit or orcs shown? From the trailer I see lots of human races (nords, breton, imperial most likely) as well as what looks to be the altmer lady sitting in the tavern next to the lute guy. I also see what may be a dunmer lady behind the bar in the same scene (far right at 1:32) but im not sure.

They did this with Oblivion as well, we didn't get to see them right away. I wonder if they add them later in development for some reason.

I'm gonna have to agree on this one.
If I were Bethesda, I'd show off the hi-res textures in the first trailer, just to attract some people who haven't played TES before.

But then again... perhaps these hi-res textures aren't done yet? Perhaps they will be done later...?

Did anyone else notice the stone face lying in the grass between 1:13 and 1:16?

What kind of ruins might that be?

Anyone else notice in the town/city shot with the guard and the lady leaning that the other npc is walking with what looks like a basket in his hands?

The Tavern looked a little empty.

Hopefully, there will be times when it's packed - with like 10-12 people all having a great time. :foodndrink:

I smelt waffles.

ny ways. so I guess this means: we can only fight dragons with dragon shouts (lame). two handed spells (cool). really liked the look of the robe and hood with satchel (awesome). super big city on those strange cliffs (bad; if most cities are half that size they'll be with in a stones throw of each other).

That's really what you think? Todd already said they aren't doing better graphics for the PC version. He said he'll let us put the game in a higher res and that's it. Same as Oblivion. Look at 360 Oblivion and PC Oblivion? What's the difference? There is none.

Whoah whoah, hold it. Coming from playing the game in 1080p on my 360 to playing it completely maxed out on the PC, I can vouch that it is completely different!

Seriously though, that was brilliant. I have absolutely no complaints. I don't see how water and dragon textures totally ruin a game forever no matter what.

The hi-res textures for the PC are usually made last. Extraneous assets tend to be made last.
