Discuss the new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim trailer here! (THREA

Superb. One of the best game trailers I have seen and I think I have seen almost all :P seems like they might have picked up some of the depth they lost with oblivion aswell.
If the game lives up to this awesomenes I might go missing from society for a couple of months.

I want it confirmed that this is PC or 360. Alot of people are saying 360 which I have a hard time believing that this is 360 game play.

Nick Breckon confirmed it was all taken from the 360.

Ninja'd :toughninja: at least it was killmoms

Download the trailer and watch it in slo-mo HD and listen to this song while playing it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNMGZzbg39k&feature=related! And see all the subtle details! Mind = blown twice.. somehow.. in one day.

The confirmation of 360 is in the first post of this thread.

The word "epic" was put to shame today.
This is what it's all about.

I am so proud of being a TES fan right now.

So am I :)

In fact, I feel like I need a good night' sleep (it's 21:55 here in Spain), in order to assimilate all of this. i'm still kind of "mentally paralyzed".

And I'm not exagerating. Not a bit.

I was thinking the same thing and it's the same time here. Usually I'm awake 'till 3 am but I just can't function properly after seeing this.

The clip where that guys is stalking a deer in the woods w/ a bow and arrow ooze atmosphere.

I think that's a woman, not only a woman but a woman with a mostly exposed back...the armor seems to be very different this time for genders! No more just adding boobs :P

Christ. Who made this trailer? Please post in this forum, we need someone to thank for the editing on this.
...

Killmoms, the dev that posted earlier in this thread did the video. Thank him! Great job Killmoms and everyone involved!

I don't think I've seen you around here. You must be from the fallout side :P

EDIT: And yes, all footage besides the wall is in-game.

Forgive me, but I as well as a lot of people are having trouble beleving this? Would you care to show any proof if there is? I mean, it's obvious the cameras were done, and if you will forgive me for saying so, it just seems too perfect a trailer to be in game. And if it is NOT in game, just say so. Really, with all the other work in game, noone will hate you except for the original lie.

The theme is amazing, Skyrim looks spectacular, the combat is intense, and the characters look great. When the warrior says the beginning verses to the theme as a dragon shout, I was immediately sold. I said: "I'm buying this game". I choked up a bit at the end, when the camera pans out into the vista with the dragon diving into the forest...

This is what an RPG is. Right here.

Well said.

Love the trailer.

I didn't really see any new animation for the character, I want to know whether we'll still be land ice skating again but I wouldn't really mind if it we did.

I loved the way the dragon shout sounded.

Dragon animations look nice.

Can't wait!

Just because the camera angles were more cinematic and the dragon-fight very... coordinated... doesn't at all mean it's not real-time rendering from in-game.
With the console in Oblivion, tfc would toggle a free-flying camera not bound to the player at all. And cinematic sequences can be done with that, despite the fact that it's still in-game.

Location location location... even though hes surrounded by flame he is still in a really cold climate so the flames don't necessarily matter.
