The water animations look pretty shallow, but everything else is great!

I agree, the water in the rapids looks around half a meter deep making it pretty shallow.
Now the question is, if you drop something in the water will it drift downward?
it would make a nice way to dispose of bodies and add more fun to the hunt the body game from hills in Oblivion.

I get really sick of these came in my pants comments. Its not funny, creative, or anything!! Its stupid and kinda disgusting.

And its very immature.

I wasn't aware that it was required for these forums to be bastions of maturity and proper taste.

Wow, just wow... Really...? The TES franchise doesn't revolve around the people on this forum. It seems obvious but its almost as though you don't understand that. Its just bizarre that you presume to know better than the professionals who make a living making, marketing and publishing games. They'll release the gameplay video when they're READY to show it - not at your beck and call.

Um, what? Considering the community has been paying their salaries and recommending their products to others for over a decade we do have a voice in how they behave as a company. The Elder Scrolls is not a gift bestowed on the masses, it is a product. Why have this forum at all if you do not intend on communicating with your fanbase. Beth seems to go out of their way to avoid talking to us. And this is certainly not limited to Bethesda, it's a problem with the entire industry.

I don't understand why Beth can't just talk straight. This isn't asking for a lot. This should be standard practice.

Assuming that this forum represents even a moderately substantial portion of Bethesda's fanbase is pretty off the mark. We are quite the minority, actually, in terms of the whole collection of those who buy Bethesda games.
And as such, it doesn't make sense in the slightest to communicate en masse through the forum, and it makes every bit of sense to communicate through more wide-reaching mediums such as magazines, the official site, trailers, etc.
