Something I've been thinking of lately. I like reading/watching discussions take place on forums and whatnot, because it's intriguing and feels informative. Surely, since friendly discussions exist, people love discussions as well.

So what is your favourite part of a discussion? Do you like being in one or do you prefer watching them? Do you discuss to educate others or simply because you love to butt heads with another on something? Do you find friendly discussions to be interesting, or are you only intrigued by heated arguments? Do you like learning from a discussion or do you like flaunting off your own knowledge? And why do you think discussions are interesting, informative, and important?
