Disenchanting a 50% Healing rate

Post » Sat Sep 19, 2015 12:39 pm

i disenchanted a 50% healing rate and used my Enchanter's Elixir, thinking it would boost more than 50% healing rate, but went to 35% ;~; im disappointed and im using it on my deadric helment, gauntlet, necklace and ring. and also the same for health points still same on 70 points of health,

You don't learn a particular strength of enchantment, I'm afraid, you learn the type of enchantment (in this case 'fortify health regeneration', I think?), and then apply that at whatever strength you can manage based on skill, bonuses from potions/perks etc. What is your enchanting skill, what perks do you have, what strength of soul (not gem, the soul inside it) were you using, did you have a fortify enchanting potion before trying to enchant?

The fortify restoration loop is your friend:)

I disagree. Relying on an exploit is no "friend" at all, as it weakens your game-play.

Yeah, fully perked enchanting, especially if you also fully perk your alchemy is already pretty bloody strong, to the extent that I typically try to only have one "main" crafting skill that I perk beyond the bare minimum.

It's also worth pointing out that a faster health regen rate is probably not super useful, given the healing rate is so slow in combat, unless you do a lot of hiding and coming back it's never going to help a huge amount.

It's not an exploit, it's a stackable loop. Same way you can add a 25% destruction cost reduction on 4 items to get a 0% casting cost.

Of course it all depends on what you use it for.

It actually IS an exploit :D And I agree with Glargg. Doing that Restoration Loop is something you'll regret in 2 days. At least, I did.

For some reason, regenerate health has a very weak magnitude... seems odd for an enchant that isn't that fantastic in the first place.

I could only get as much as 50% with ahzidal's genius, seeker of sorcery, +40% fortify enchanting potion and max enchanting with all perks... with other effects I can surpass found enchants but regenerate health is an exception.

The Oghma Infinium was an exploit. There's a big difference here.

Don't get me wrong. I don't abuse it like some might. Just for a little added oomph.
