Disgusted with Crysis 2

Hold your horses: DX11 patch is confirmed
you're like the guy who throws away a massive chunk of high-quality steak because "I don't like it"

It's not like we throw it away.
But we paid for it and ate half of it. Then the steak made us vomit.

The fact that they have to patch in DX11 would seem to hint at CE3 not having native DX11 support... Which is lame.

I'd also like to point out that taking out features isn't optimization, which is exactly what they did between Crysis Warhead and 2.

I'll be impressed with your God's gift to game engines when you actually make a PC game with it.

LOL at the guys who spam these threads with "YEAH BUT CRYENGINE3 IS SO OMG ADVANCED!!!"

Who gives a flying #$$#^% about how advanced the engine claims to be. We're talking about the game here. You know, the one that doesn't use any of these fancy bells and whistles that the engine can do because it was designed to run on toasters?

I'll be impressed with your God's gift to game engines when you actually make a PC game with it.
This.

Who cares how much potential the engine has, if the game that uses it only uses 1% of its features, then the jokes on us.
