Disk in tray, but Morrowind doesnt see it

I decided to re-install Morrowind for some fun,b ut I'm having problems. I installed the game with no problems whatsoever, but the game wont recognise the disk is in the drive when I try to play. I get the error message "Please insert the game disk, select OK and restart the game". I've taken the disk out, found no scratches and tried again, but with the same result. My DVD drive reads all other disks with no problems, and I had no problems installing the game.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Right click on the drive icon (hopefully the Morrowind symbol shows up, indicating your computer is reading the disk) and click on Auto-play. This should bring up the launcher -> and you'd think then it would work off the cd :D

If it doesnt then there is either something wrong with the cd (either its corrupted somehow or damaged physically but you jsut cant see it). Maybe some idiot in your house ran a magnet over the cd or something ^_^ (pro tip: murder them if they did. My Morrowind boxset is absolutely sacred; i didnt ever allow siblings to even touch the manual without my supervision :P)
