Hi,

I can't seem to figure out how to dismiss companions (or get them out of power armor, etc).

I've searched for the answer and I understand that I need to click on my current companion and press triangle to Talk to them, which should bring up the options. But when I click Talk, all I hear is a click and nothing else happens.

Trade, Stay/follow, cancel, all work fine, it's just the talk option that does nothing. Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

Can you go to another companion and have them join you? That should auto dismiss the other one and you can pick where they go.

Yeah, I can do everything except anything to do with the triangle button. So I can ask other companions to join, swap the one that follows me, send them to wherever, but I cannot talk to my companion. So I can't dismiss them completely or order them to get out of power armor, or anthing that involves triangle options. In fact, I've never even seen the options that you get when you press triangle, I only know about them through searching for a solution.
