Displaying your collectibles

I like setting my stuff out

(even if it doesn't always stay exactly where it's put !)

Do you like to lay out your loot?

Oh yeah, I love it. I wish you could build display cases for your weapons, though, like in Skyrim. Or creepy mannequins for your apparel.

I did wonder if anyone would steal the stuff,

but over time it does appear to have stayed put.

Unlike Power Armor which folk will run off with if you leave the 'keys' in.

I was most concerned about the Giddyup Buttercup, but it 'seems' safe...

(maybe they are more sticky because I 'place' them in build mode rather than drop and move them...?)

One up to that!!!! If they added this feature, I think it would greatly increase the aethstetic of your buildings, not to mention give some use to the weapons you store instead of just sitting in the inventory collecting dust. Kind of like a "Look at what I found out there"

In Sactuary I have my bobblehead collection right beside the shelf (the house w/workshop bench) and on the shelf I have my vault suit, vault lab coat, and my vault tec lunchbox collection. I also have a disco ball on the ceiling.

I would screenshot to share but I can only do that in Windowed mode and I hate windowed mode!

Only thing I have displayed so far is the Bobblehead shelf, and three magazine racks for my magazines..... :)

edit: I see all those Nuka Colas sitting on those tables by the window, and just keep thinking about all the Super Mutant suiciders who keep running up to my garage....

(I've got a lot of turrets around the Red Rocket, though. Ever since I went into the back to stash some loot, turned around, and was staring right into the eyes of a big Radscorpion that had walked right up to the window. :D)

I did have a bunch of things displayed in Red Rocket before they all sunk into the surfaces they were on. Now I only have things I've built displayed, like magazine racks and the bobblehead stand. I have all my collections and decorative items in a box in hopes there will someday be a patch.

I really like what you've done with your collections and hope they remain safe!

The surface sinking appears to vary.

The Red Rocket counter appears to be unsafe, things do fall through.

The tables seem fine.

Trial and error...

Yeah, and I'm pissed we can't. They're literally everywhere.

That looks a very nice set-up ;) you have motivated me to organise my room :) I have been collecting giddy-up buttercup sections to hopefully piece them together. Did you buy yours? I'm sure I saw it at Diamond City but it was 4000 caps or something :o
