I'm experiencing an issue with my game. Whenever I start walking outside in the game the distant land will not load into high quality. Then if I keep walking my screen will black out, I can still move and shoot and see my HUD but I can't see anything, not even the Pip-boy menu.

I'm at a loss here and I don't have the patience to puzzle it out right now. Thanks for looking at my thread if you've got any solutions.

What kind of temps are you seeing on your thermal monitor utility? What is the game's hardware & software environment?

Don't have a thermal monitor utility, I'll post specs later after work I gotta go now so no time.

You need one, considering your symptoms. I've mostly given up on nVIDIA the past year; ATI Tray Tools has such a monitor I can look at from inside games (and can put up an FPS counter at less of a footprint hit than FRAPS).

I'll look into it this weekend I've got a pretty busy week, I can just find one to run on my off-screen too.
