Would you like the idea of choosing tattoos or scars for your character? Like in the case of scars, you pick a body part (Head, Arm, Chest, etc) and then make a 'From point A to point B' and then adjust the line so its straight, twisted, a slight arc, etc. before you choose the severity of it.
Maybe not this last one, but still.

Tattoos could have some designs to choose from, and then a custom one where it would be similar to making scars, only you could overlap a few types (make a half moon with a arc on the opposite side for example).

Just some thoughts, the scars one doesn't seem so bad, thought I'd see what everyone thinks about it. :wavey:

Yes without a mod. They said it'll be in the customization options. Look up some threads about it, they had one talking about all the features they include in it.

Yes confirmed feature, only unknown is how many layers, can you have both a tattoo and a scar perhaps also warpaint or do you have to remove the scar to get warpaint.
Is the body separated from the head?
One fun thing is that if we get multiple layers people will do all sort of fun.

Now if only we could have freckles without mods now

If you do look at the concept art, sometimes he has scars on his arms and such.
I was wondering what that was about.

The guy that is fighting the big duel-wielding guy in the trailer has facepaint/tattoos.

Also, if you watch the trailer closely, youll notice that the dovahkiin has a tattoo on his face in the scene with the dual wielding guy.
(btw the dovahkiin is the one with the sword and shield in that scene.)

The concept art with the Ice Troll, the dragonborn has tons of scars.

I didnt even realize he was the Dovahkiin, but his Gauntlets match the finishing move scene. And His Shield i correct as well.
Gives me new hope and more excitement for this game.....

the Dual wielding guy has the fur/leather gauntlets that the 1st person character has in other scenes, and the shield the other guy is holding doesn't look the same as the one in the dragon fight (which looks more like a grey blades shield)
was it confirmed somewhere?

Also trolls only have two eyes now (I happened to pause it at the right time to see while looking for the scene I talked about above)

well just the fact that you see the finishing move from a FP-POV is evidence that he is the player. unless Bethesda has a way to see from NPC POV or if NPC's can even do finishing moves.

P.s. there are many scenes where the dovahkiin is wearing different attire(i.e. the throat slit, the forest hunt, the town scene where he is wearing a cloak.)

IDK about freckles without a mod, but with a mod it is easy, because we have tattoos, a mod can add a tattoo that resembles freckles, and voila!

The scene with the AoE fire attack, he's a she.

Yeah, but in that one, he just looked like a stupid generic bandit (we are talking about the 1:36 min fight, rite?) getting owned by the PC's pro dual wielding 5ki11Z

If you look at the dual wielding guy, he gets gutted by the shield guy....so I doubt that the Dual Wielder is the Dovahkiin. I
m pretty sure the one on the right is Dovahkiin. If I'm wrong, I apologize.

I'm gonna call dual wielding guy Bob and gutted guy Joe.

Bob doesn't have sleeves. Joe does.

Bob's gauntlets match the ones on Joe's gutter.

But Bob and Joe share similar haircuts and scars on the right side of the face...

Also the troll definitely has 3 eyes.

it would be nice to have BODY sculpting options too.
Oblivion had the problem of making a nice head that just didnt fit the standard body.
We need to be able to alter the body shape too.
The Smackdown vs Raw series spoiled me a bit that way
