In the part of the main quest where I need to speak with Fyr in order to get rid of the corprus disease after the sixth house base in gnaar mok, I approach him with the dwemer coherer given to me by caius, and he immediately asks something along the lines of:

"That is an interesting dwemer piece you have there. Can you tell me anything more about it?"

2 Options labeled in red text appear -

Offer the artifact as a gift
Show him the artifact then quickly put it away


Either which way that I choose, he immediately reverts back to the original question and on top of that I can't say goodbye and exit the dialogue window.
