so wheres the Udryfyke i walked off Dive Rock and died (saved 1st of coarse) eventually 15 falls to my death later i found a safe way down and didnt see any udryfyke am I doing it wrong ? or do I have to wait till skyrim comes out and this is an unfinished quest ?

also why does the journal say Dive Rock is in skyrim o.0 im standing on it and its in Cyrodriil! or did i mis read that part ? (I fast travled back after selling some stuff from an ayelied ruin i had raided)

The Udyfrykte Matron is found South of Dive Rock, near a dead Nord and some bushes.
I do not know why your journal has any mention of Skyrim near Dive Rock, it is between Morrowind and Cyrodill.

also how do i stop the udryfyke spawning as a very large troll :/ i wnat teh one with icey effect ive traveled to anviil and back and ignored the place for 6 oblivion weeks by being else where :/

In the journal, the creature was spotted in Skyrim and tracked to the Imperial Province.
I am not sure if you can get the icy chameleon effect except by having all of the patches? I am on a PC, and for the first few years I played she was either a troll or totally invisible.

Say... these things really seem to like cold and northern places...

What kind of an Udyrfrykte Matriarch will awake in Skyrim? o.o
