i think Boethia meant he isn't the only one left because he's not left either.

I need to learn to proofread... There aren't any more Dwemer, so he can't be the last one.

Okay, I see ya. But, as I said early, Vivec did not he couldn't sense the dwemer anymore, which I noted was interesting for the following reasons:
A) Slight oversight of the devs in Vivec's dialog
B) Vivec ignored Yagrum
C) Yagrum is something else now (other than a corprus being with most of his sanity intact)

What you purpose is C, if my understanding of what you said is correct. This is where things become interesting. The other two, to me at least, are BATW.

No, he's just dead, or not, it's all a matter of perspective.

But...he's not dead, or at wasn't in MW. The divine disease doesn't kill a person, it only mutates a person physically and mentally into a creature worthy of Nurgle's praise. Also, even when Yagrum did go insane, he did recover from his insanity when Divayth Fyr took him in. Ol' DF may be a 4000 year old wizard part of house Telvanni, but that doesn't mean he's quite the psychologist. Sure, Yagrum did lose a bunch of his memories, but he's been noted to recover, and helps out Divayth with his studies of dwemer tech.

Heck, ol' Yagrum is able to fix Wraithguard, should the nerevarine kill Vivec when the two met.

D) Vivec didn't feel the need to point out that Yagrum was still around (ie, that there's one left) since the Nerevarine is required to meet Yagrum before that point in the story - Vivec knows that you know there's one left and so doesn't bother wasting his breath to repeat what's already known.

that was point B, silly.

But yes, your point there is easily the right answer. I think I need to lay off theory construction when I'm reading early 20th/late 19th century writers; my mind ends up like a tangled mess of wires.

Nurgle: son, you've disappointed me. You know they were to all die. Did you, at the very least, spread death to Divayth Fyr when you played morrowind?

Diviath Fyr is alive. He was a master of conjuration: He could have vanished into a realm of oblivion with ease.

Does conjuration include a teleportation spell now? No not now, but I agree that it should. There's been more to the conjuration skill than conjuring since it was included in a TES game, and based on the main uses it should be renamed Daedric. Bringing that skill back would make ass tons more sense than to keep calling it conjuration, as if you were conjuring [censored]. Lets not kid ourselves. It isn't [censored] conjuration.

Master conjurers can summon Oblivion Gates though, right? I think that's what DFT (Don't Forget This) was saying.

No, I was saying that, although he couldn't (directly) teleport himself through conjuration to another part of Mundas, he could spirit himself away to any 'open' realm of oblivion at will.
