No, the doors were closed on New Vegas the moment Gun Runners Arsenal and Courier's Stash came out. Not to mention post ending gameplay would be impractical for a game like New Vegas.

No, this is not Fallout 3, this is New vegas it has a good ending and it makes sense.
It also has too many choices to take into account, and if we were able to play on we'd see no change at all but maybe a few more of one faction running around and that'd be crap.

Do people not use the search feature around here? This thread is made once a week.

Still?

OP, I'm pretty sure there is a mod for it, if you are on PC.

It only happens when you support ncr or are independent and decide Caesar no longer deserves to live and ofc if you haven't killed him already. Personally I want to nail him to a cross which the game does not allow us to do maybe they can make a dlc which does that

There are no more DLC coming out for New Vegas. If you really want to do this then make a suggestion in the mod section.

OP: If you`re on the PC then, as The Tallest said, you can use mods to continue after the ending.

Your copy is broken, a lot of people who aren't complaining are playing it just fine. Try some mods and if you're not on the PC then remedy that.

New Vegas is done. Why continue with DLC's for it? F3 should not have let people play, yet it did, and made people think "Oh, more Fallout games should be like this."

Lol. After this long, there are still threads being made about this.

FO3 had a bad ending, BS came out, and pushed the game past its bad ending, and made a (IMO) slightly better one, but with no new slides, and one that might have made even less sence than the first one.

Now,NV on the other hand, has a great ending. I actualy feel acomplished because I can hear(not even play, just hear, and it still works) the results of my actions throughout the wastes. Now, why would I want to mess that up? If it could be done well, than sure. But, it couldnt even be done well on FO3, and it only had one ending(you could say it had more, but your actions didnt change the overall way of things, so you prity much had one ending). NV has 4 main endings, with countless options when side quests are included. I dont see that working out very well.

Let us sum this up & have a sticky/locked thread title telling people that there will be no more DLC nor patches.

It would be the best way to fight this.. stupidity. As well as give moderators a reasons to lock each one.

Forget the sticky, since nobody reads those. Instead, upon entering the Fallout:New Vegas forums a massive message box appears on the screen, with bright red 3-inch letters reading 'THERE WILL NOT BE A POST-ENDING DLC, SO DON'T ASK!'. This box will not have an 'off' button, so can't be bypassed, but instead will disappear of its own accord after about a minute.

(Yeah, I know it'll never happen because it'd be too annoying for most folks, but at least it would insure the notice was seen.)

They would laugh, yell "I'll show you" and proceed to make their pointless thread.

BUY BROKEN STEEL

It's rumored if you buy broken steel 47 times EXACTLY, you can play past the end in NV

Don't be silly, it's FACT that broken steel allows for continuation in NV. It also adds cute little furry gremlins, just be sure not to feed them after midnight or you gotta put em out, Old Yellar style.

New Vegas' ending is just staying true to the Fallout series. Broken Steel (and actually Fallout 3 as a whole) was a change from the other games, and in not all ways a welcome one.
