Nobody posted it because they don't provide any reference for their claim that it will be out this week. As long as there is no official word from SD or Bethesda i don`t think it will happen. If i remember correct most DLC for 360 are coming tuesdays as for the PS3 on thursday.

Thanks for posting, but I gotta agree, seems like they're talking our of their ass.

They must just have got the wrong idea from "DLC coming in June".

Yes, the guy didnt post a reliable link, but i am VERY optimistic about this. Reason being, I am pretty sure that they have had this content for quite a while. they obviously already had the skills ready when the game came out and we know that from the glitch. And the maps, i could have sworn they originally had intended to come out with 10 and not 8. So i have reason to believe that those 2 were already ready for release. Even more considering one of them is the founders tower. Lastly, one set of clothing should not be that hard to implement, assuming of course they didnt have that ready for release. So, if this content really is something that was cut out of the final game, then i would understand them releasing it after only 3ish weeks after release.

Its possible they just werent ready to go live on release. It's nice that they can sort of delay the release of them and polish them - adds a bit of excitement too. I for one cant bloody wait for new maps. The existing 8 are all awesome, and all completely different. Really keen to check out two new ones, particularly what they have listed, they sound great.

That article is based on our blog post from last week, but it looks like they got the dates mixed up. We said the stats site is coming this week and that DLC is slated for this month.

http://bethblog.com/index.php/2011/05/27/brink-dlc-details-and-stats-site-update/
First up, the statistics site will be going live next Tuesday for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 players. PC players can look forward to it going up very soon. This site, located at brinkthegame.com, will be your hub for in-depth stats, including data on matches, players and the overall progress in the weekly Battle for the Ark. Check out the screenshot above for a sneak peek and dig up that VIP code as you’ll need it to register once the stats page is live.

On top of that, the Agents of Change DLC is just on the horizon, slated for release in June. The pack will bring new maps, abilities, character customization options and weapon attachments to Brink, while also raising the level cap to 24. Here’s a full list of the DLC content:

We'll have more info on the Agents of Change DLC soon.

Pity, heavies need those weapon shields.

And I'm basing my thoughts of weapon shields being only for heavy weapons on the fact that heavies need something to balance them out, if any weapon besides a heavy-only weapon gets a weapon shield and the heavies don't get any health or weapon buff before then... this game, even though I like a bunch of it, will go back. I bought the game mostly wanting to be a heavy and so far I've been severely dissapointed, fix the weight classes or bust!

^^ There you have it.

It really pays to be the pessimistic type, I really never get excited for something (except Brink, couldn't help it) so I'm never let down.
