*(SPOILER)* So I've been playing Fallout 4 after completion just leveling up my character thinking about how the game could be expanded. Being an avid fallout fan and one who enjoys a good story, I noticed a lack of father-son sentiment that the story was ultimately about. A father scouring an impossibly dangerous wasteland to find his son whom he loved that was taken from him. And in the end, 2 out of 3 endings end on a sort of bitter note between your son and you. However, no matter what way the game ends I believe there is a way to salvage the father-son bond, by completing the task of granting "Father's" dying wish of giving Synth Shaun a chance in the commonwealth and gaining some closure. In all the endings synth Shaun exists, unless you decide to leave him behind when not siding with the institute (but come on who would leave that little kiddo behind?) in this case he could just randomly approach you in the wasteland to deliver Shaun's Holotape. Which brings me to the next point, upon the start of this dlc you will discover an embedded code in the Holotape received from Father that basically has all the command information for building a synth. And the story comes in where you have to decide to tell Shaun he's a synth or let him keep thinking he's human. And the combat comes in when in the Holotape you find coordinates to a secret institute lab that low-key built synths. Here is where you will upgrade your synth Shaun maybe from a child t a teenager and you'd have to work your way to the next lab to upgrade him to a young advlt. Ultimately in the end being able to bring him along as a companion, making him a fully integrated part of the commonwealth society. I feel like this would be amazing to witness because since the majority of the story is based off finding your son, I'd personally love to see what it would be like to raise him in the wasteland. Kicking ass with your son would be amazing too, and maybe there could be an on going quest like there is with MacReady maybe titled "Ruling the Commonwealth as Father and Son" xD Let me know what you think...
