Finally got it, he talks about how the DLCs will be fewer in number but more like expansions. Kind of contradicts what was said earlier.

In short: Fewer DLCs than FO3, but much larger than the ones from FO3(Think SI in OB)

Yes it does contradict what he said earlier....but just nod, and smile...and just wait for skyrim

earlier before the AUSgamers he (or pete?) said expansion packs took to long, and that they didn't want to keep their fans "waiting" of which is complete bs, and he said they would do smaller dlc's like the FO3 model. now it seems to took a slight diversion, keeping DLC''s but with "more" content, like I said, sit, smile, nod and wait for Skyrim.

It also seems that you have to complete the MQ to play the DLC....

It seems they're not going to make single long missions like with Anchorage and Mothership Zeta, but ones that have more substance to it, like the Pitt and Point Lookout, probably even bigger...

Yep- this is the story this month, which differs from the story last month, and we'll probably get yet another story next month.

What? I don't see how you got that out of what was posted, it said DLC content "will be available" after the main quest- contrast with New Vegas, where in order to access DLC you must start with a save made before completing the main quest because doing so ends the game. Just another "No, the game doesn't end once you beat the main quest" confirmation there.

Todd is basically saying he wants DLC that is longer than Fallout3's but shorter than Shivering Isles.

while i know some people who would like an "end" the majority would light on fire and rage to a torrent unlike anything witnessed before.

I would gladly wait for Shivering Isles sized DLCs.

I feel like they're gauging the visible community (the forum) with this information.
