Just for curiosity, what you decided to do with The Mechanist? Did you spared or killed her?

I spared her after learning about what she was trying to do, the reveal didn't factor into it. If she hadn't been remorseful, things would have ended differently.

We need to work together to rebuild the Commonwealth.

Agree with Donhen and SwampLeviathan. After seeing that she had good intentions and is really remorseful, the thing has changed. And a bonus factor is that she is very cute and intelligent. Indeed, too bad that she isn't able to be romanced!

Depending on the faction, spare her with the Institute playthrough, kill her with the BoS playthrough, for obvious reasons.

My Institute Director spared her and if the option was available... probably would have recruited her into the Institute. But I went in there with the intent of killing the mechanist. But after talking with her (after the big fight against what was left of her bots, I spared her. After all... my character could have made a similar mistake had she been the one who found the lair first. Plus my character is nostalgic and the comic book style villainess made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside lol

As soon as she opened that door and came down the ramp she started shooting at me so she got to meet my explosive shotgun.
