Continue the discussion but lets be civil about it.

"I want everyone to be clear on two things from the release that went out.

1) All we announced is that the first DLC will be exclusive to Xbox LIVE. It'll be available this holiday season through Xbox LIVE.
2) More details about plans for additional content will be released in the coming weeks.

Beyond that, I don't have any information to share. Again, we'll share more info in the coming weeks."

A clarification would help a lot.

What clarification? Microsoft paid them a lot, as they did with F3, so they get the DLC first.

The DLC might be exclusive to 360 at first, but I'm willing to bet that it will eventually be available for PC and PS3. So I'm not worried about it - I either play other games or mod FNV in the meantime to stay occupied until the DLC is available to the PC. :fallout:

We will be handing out warnings for autocensor bypasses and for console/platform bashing and for flaming individuals such as Bill Gates or Pete Hines or one another. So just don't do it. You want to bash the companies as a whole, go for it but don't point to individuals. :toughninja:

Clarification to let us know the release date of DLC on PS3 and PC.

I'm pretty sure someone has already covered the fact that you don't know that.

I am truly confused. Why does a [censored] DLC (a little thing that likely isn't worth a damn) cause such a ruckus? It's not like the core game is incomplete without it or anything.

Could someone explain?

I knew Summer was a ninja.

Anyway I'll edit this with my old post on how I feel about it.

EDIT - Everyone will get the DLC's. So what if you have to wait a little while. Your preference in consoles also gets its share of unfair things.

Ex.

PS3 - The game MAG. Not to mention Mass Effect DLC.

PC - Mods for practically EVERY game. Also the chance that you get DLC with the 360, being a MS product.

360 ( My console of choice ) - Early DLC for FONV among other titles. Not to mention its owned by the third richest person in the world, so obviously it has more money.

I have no problem with it, and I think there's a lot of irrationality going around here.

Content being bought by the highest bidder and thus being denied to the players on different platforms is the issue. Microsoft is attempting to draw people in as they know that the 360 is in serious trouble right now. I only hope the Kinect fails as severely as it deserves to.

+1!

Sheesh the main game isn't even out and people are quitting/cancelling over Possible future DLC content?!

Whatever, I would never deny myself a really cool video game over something like this - we don't have the facts yet. I won't miss any of them, I'll be enjoying FNV. :)

@topic: They're talking about "timed 360-exclusive" content so it will be released for PC and PS3 a few weeks later.

All 3 systems will have the same DLC it just takes longer for different systems. The 360 is the easiest of the 3 systems to get DLC on thats why the 360 is always 1st to get DLCs. Be glad Bethesda is letting New Vegas have DLC's they could have just said the hell with it we don't want New Vegas to get DLC's but they didn't do that, we are getting DLC's its just gonna take time. I'll say again have Patience go out and get Fallout New Vegas you will enjoy the game then later on in a couple months Bethesda and Obsidian will release DLC's for all 3 systems and they will have it for all 3 systems.

Wow, that was probably the fastest I've ever seen a thread reach it's post limit. I just stepped away for a bit, to bake some turtle bread, and by the time I come back it's locked.

Hmm, since I'm getting it for the 360, I'm not to broken up about it, if it IS true, but I do hope PS3 users won't have to wait too long for the DLC.

Have you played Fallout 3? The Fallout 3 DLC are like mini expansions, not something like the horse armour DLC for Oblivion, which really is a little thing. So they do add quite a few hours of gameplay. I agree that people are overreacting though.

What I think is happening is that Bethesda wants to give you PS3 owners DLC at the same time but Microsoft struck a deal to boost their sales. All those things have to go through Microsoft and considering this is a big release, Microsoft probably paid for this to happen knowing thousands will DL it.

I still stand by my opinion that Bethesda shafted us PS3 users. And I used to support these guys :shakehead:

I will still get the game and enjoy it. But you have a lost a lot of respect from me Bethesda. A LOT.

I wont lie this will infuriate me. Fallout 3's ports of DLC to the PS3 were awful and as much as I loved the game it it a shame that us PS3 owners dont get the support we deserve. I still cant reload my game and play point lookout and its all due to a terrible port. If this is true for NV Ill play the game and Im selling it shortly after. I have always been a huge bethesda fan but this is really aggrivating

Now that hurts. I am simply saying that Bethesda's games are worth multiple time the value for which they are purchased. How many other games last hundreds of hours for $60 or less? Extremely few. Is it so wrong for me to say that Bethesda deserves our support for the amazing games and quality they deliver to us?

You do realize that New Vegas wasn't made by Bethesda, correct?

Nah its easier to make the DLC's for the 360 thats the main reason why.

*Sigh* Like I said in the previous thread, I'm very hurt since unlike alot of other forumers, I found Fallout 3 better than the older fallouts, and I do love me some Oblivion. But, C'est La Vie. I suppose if it's timed, it's better I wait than never get it at all.
