I was smart enough to know better, purchasing the lost island dlc was a horrible idea! I've communicated with some of the few that was svckered in by the eye candy....The verdict is looks good but no full lobbies and lots of waiting...lots and lots of waiting. This was crytek and EA's final attempt to squeeze the small fan bases wallets for another 15 bucks. I liked the game but not enough to take a chance with this dlc...people are saying you pretty much pay 15 bucks for a few guns and empty lobbies. Wait a week you say? The dlc will sell you say? Don't hold your breath, hold on to your money. If your a fan of 3rd person shooters and survivle horror I suggest saving up for last of us. The community seems to be excited and the game looks solid as expected. And the best part is a large fan following, it's looking good for last of us.....More than I can say about crysis sadly.

You have some serious issues yo.
Did you just try to quote yourself?Trying to tell people not to buy this DLC while you are crying about how nobody will buy it?Seriously?
This DLC cost less than my lunch and Im very happy with it.Just the two gun worth it the maps are extras.People with limited thinking makes me sick.

You are wrong. It was expensive, but it totally worth it.
The 4 maps are beautiful and well designed. The new team modes are fun as hell, especially the Frenzy.
The 2 new weapons are awesome, however I think RHINO is too strong.

the maps look great, the new game modes svck for me. Just a cluster f**k. No Spears of CS which are the better game modes. New weapons r ok but nothing great. Hit detection seems off. Nanovision is busted on some maps. Filters on server browser busted again....

Well here in the UK it costs £12 ( $18.50 ) on Origin, which is really quite expensive for a DLC imo.

Haven't had a chance to play it yet because Origin will only let me download it at 50kbps (wtf?)
