I rather liked The Pitt. It jolted you out of your usual role and made you consider the consequenses of your actions.

Until it ended with "Both sides wanted the same thing, what you did was useless and wouldn't matter in the long run."

I think you're confusing the Pitt with the main plot of FO3 :P

The Pitt is a case of who's ends justify the means more, Ashur's or those against him.

It wasn't fabulous but it still stood up in the mass of mediocre writing that was FO3.

The Pitt was a success because we would not stop talking about and angrily debating the major choice for at least five months afterward. I call that a success.

Wrong.

You could deliver a baby to dangerous and possible reckless experimentation, but destroy a despot trying to reform.

Or you could keep The despot in power, and trust him, his words about curing The plague, leaving his baby safe and his plan, but destroy a rebellion.

Moral grays. Lots of ends vs means. No easy outs.

The story was eh but the landscape was decent I guess, wish the port was an actual settlement and that it made more sense for the random non-hillbilly mutant characters that are for some reason not harassed or deformed.

I much prefer Futurama's rendition on it, so I'd rather see the android try to seduce your own grandmother, and your goal is to stop him, seduce her yourself and become your own grandfather.

All of the above prove that basing a DLC off a massive Jet-trip would no doubt be amazing 11/10 material.

Too early to tell what I would want. Game isn't even released and we don't know what the story is about.

my mind seems to garble my ideas. I would use the CIA if it wasnt aborted from the lore.

Dlc that involves an ex enclave cheif scientist. 锛坆ut you dont know that until sometime assisting him锛?br>
He is looking for mercenarys and scientists to join him on an expedition to a pre war Wyoming diamond mine that has been a place, where diamonds were extracted to be used as an energy source锛歵o make nuclear powered devices more stable, powerful and effecient, even used as a resource for weapons.

The mine is 4 miles deep with over 500 miles of tunels conecting to vast living areas 锛坲nderground towns锛?,research facilitys, working areas that were entoxicated with radiation at the beginning of the war by bombardment. All enhabitance are presumed to now be dead or ghoulified. Its only the surface entrances that are saturated in radiation. The inside of the mine has died down in radiation since the war. The only safe way to get to the mine is through a subway system that starts on the otherside of the colorado border.

What the main point of interest here in the mine is a self reliant ( a single species ecosystem) bacteria that is strengthened through radioactivity. The Bacteria is found at the deeper parts of the mine where it is very hot and you would need a special suit for it to be hospitibal down there.

The bacteria has rapidly evolved into a variety of strange larger and even more dangerous creatures.

The scientist knows the way in and needs help locating and utilizing the primary residing place of the bacteria for his own purposes. Along with the difficulty of fighting creatures and ghouls to get to the objective. There will be mutiny among the crew; fear and loathing as they go deeper. Since there are still diamonds and pre war tech there; this will cause the mutiny.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a DLC involving a small group of Enclave or former members of the Enclave.

With airships, the possible locations for DLC could be endless.. well maybe not endless but very far ranged indeed. Some of my friends have speculated that Fallout 4 could be set in many cities not just Boston.

Please... no new york DLC:.. New York is so big it should be a own Fallout game. Not just part of a DLC. The same with London or whatever. This should be games with the same size like Fallout 3 or 4 and not DLCs.

How about Yonkers New York, we go there and have to go to war against a horde of feral ghouls :mohawk:

Whats interesting to note about the airships is that people think they have identified open hatches on the sides of it, with virtibirds attached to these hatches like a dock.

Apparently the airships serve as flying aircraft carriers for the vertibirds, which would solve the problem of the virtibirds not being able to fly very far.

If the airships take us to other places, the vertibirds could be used to fly INSIDE those places.

If that is the case I hope it isn't the Enclave. Unless it is a Midwestern Brotherhood Enclave alliance thing.

Doesn't appear to be Enclave based on the power armor being used by the soldiers inside the vertibirds.

Looks more like BoS or new faction.

New Faction would be great. If it is the BoS then Midwestern Brotherhood would be my pick. If it is Lyons I would guess time line jumped many years since we last saw them.

What I would like to see is something similar to dead money like the desperation aspect of that DLC.

Just N of Boston in NH, you have a couple of huge forests that would make for good DLC. Green Mt Natl Forest and White Mt Natl Forest.

Then there is always the Vineyard.

... and Salem.

I would actually love more DLCs that take place in a landscape that was barely touched by the bombs like Point Lookout or Zion Valley, just more developed then those two.

Airships would make sense for specialized missions.

"Suddenly you / The institute recieves an emergency burst message from Thule airforce base on Greenland. Considering The fact that it should have been a hole in the ground due to multiple nuclear detonations, you Are curious. You find cryogenic survivors from a Pan European arctic Pew war legionairre type unit and their prewar Tech".

RADshouts. But I have to slay dRADgons and absorb their RADsouls. Each word of enlightenment is learned from skill walls, and each RADshout is made up of three words.

Similar to FUS ROH DAH was the trademark shout of the Dragonborn in Skyrim, I hope the DLC makes it so that LETS GO BOY is the trademark shout of the Vaultborn.

Also it retails for $9.99

I would like to know what the game already has first.

DLC will probably be timed exclusives that I will end up getting at some steam sale anyways.
