Dlc in Fallout 4

Post » Thu Nov 26, 2015 11:14 pm

I would love a DLC that gave you the experience of two different people living in different vaults. It would start with them growing up and you see through their eyes. You would make choices that have an impact on what you later find and read in the vault as you enter them with your Fallout 4 character. They have to keep both stories short but intense. And with all the experiments Vault-Tex did I would also love it if one of them featured a lot of scare moments, and you had no weapons and had to survive. I know some might hate that and think it's way to close to Alien: Isolation, but it's not like that game is the first to use the theme.

It would give you more to do because of replay value. For those that don't want to play as these two people they could just enter the vaults and get the default loot and stuff to read and see.

Edit: It would give us all a chance to live through the horrible experiences we have only been able to read about when you entered the vaults long after they happened. At least for me it's one of those things that is missing; to really be there.

With the airship; the Midwest BoS seems most likely.

Maybe we would go back to vault zero to see what choice the warrior made long ago.

I've seen it posted several times now, and have to agree that Salem would make an amazing DLC. As a local, I can vouch for endless possibilities.

Besides paid dlc, I hope they give out small freebies.

Seeing that there seems to be creepy styled dlc in fallout like dead money, mothership zeta, and point lookout, I'd love to see something set in the bridgewater triangle. Lots of weird stuff are said to happen there from alien sightings to ghosts and also bigfoot sightings. It would look something like point lookout since its pretty much a swamp but theres a lot of small towns in it and they can definitely be really creative with the area and story for it.

Bridgewater triangle looks more like it could be already on the map.

Don't like revisiting old locations.

Don't really like dead money.

I also don't want to go back to old locations, Vault Zero would be pretty far from the location of Fallout 4 even with airships. I just don't pass up a chance to talk about the Great Barnaky

I would hope that one of the DLC isn't Chicago. I would want that to be it's own game by Obsidian :shifty:

I was thinking the same thing on Chicago. I still hope Midwest BoS makes an appearance in Fallout 4 somewhere...where I could loot their armor specifically..

A Canada DLC would be interesting. Maybe travel to Toronto for some reason. Maybe encounter some kind of Canadian Resistance ( a mountie and a horse) that developed after the aftermath of nuclear war. Or maybe some Native American tribes forming there.

I like the thought of the Enclave only being involved in a DLC based in chicago. Maybe help the Midwestern BoS fight them, and that be the only sequence both factions are in the game.

A dlc that involves vehicles as well as having a feasible environment for it. If its warfare or just navigating a dificult landscape ide like to use some jeeps/ trucks and or tanks. Hopefully its canon or possible.

I'm not sure if we would be able to use them in f4.

I know a mod for NV is being made for tank warfare. Maybe bgs can beat em to it and let use a variety of vehicles in a war type dlc.

Not the one I wanted, indeed, but it sated my curiosity regardless.

Thanks.

Niagara Falls maybe? Another kind of irradiated resort town, sort of like Maratha's Vineyard

It's crazy how gamers went from accusing some devs of cutting content to resell as DLC to now speculating what DLC they want before the game is even released. Edward Bernays was a genius.

What do you people think about Newport RI as DLC? I think the city is very interesting with the Newport Mansion. And maybe a Jewish community in the old synagogue?

New Hampshire wilderness... Providence, RH (Lovecraft)... Martha's Vinyard... Niagra Falls... lots of potentially interesting locales.

I'm betting Beth has already drawn up vague plans or begun actually work on the DLCs.

I like the idea of expansion packs, too. New quests and rewards on the main map.

Also, I like the aliens, so my opinion doesn't matter.
