Wasn't too sure if I should post this in the DLC suggestions thread because it is just a simple feature idea rather than an idea for an expansion, and I'm also interested if people would be interested in such a feature, so I'm just going to post it here:

Depending on the faction you join in the civil war, or in the continuation of the war between the Empire and the Stormcloaks, you will be given either a war horn, or a war trumpet that will allow you to call on support from your faction.

If you sound the call with the horn or trumpet in empire or stormcloak controlled territory, a squad of supportive infantry will eventually show up to assist you in combat for a time.

It would be nice if this feature included a horn/trumpet blowing animation that could be performed while on the move, however, it could realistically just be activated like a regular power, selected in the "powers" menu and activated with the thu'um/power button. So long as your trumpet or horn is in your inventory, (or equipped) you will be able to use the power and obviously you will hear the sound of a trumpet or horn being blown.

Perhaps this could be used for only a limited time, once a day or after a number of hours, so as to avoid it being spammable, and ideally the effect would give the player the impression that they actually have the legion/stormcloaks at their back.

Would anyone else like a feature like this?

In the mod Convenient Horses, you can choose the Nordic Horn or Imperial Trumpet to summon up your horse.

There is also torygg's war horn http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Torygg%E2%80%99s_War_Horn

So models for such a thing are already basically in the game.

Also... I strongly think that such a feature could be implemented because...

It would be awesome, perhaps even ideal that such a feature could be used to call on cavalry support, stormcloak or legion, wearing cavalry armour and appropriately equipped with bows, longswords and lances.
