My DLC idea.

Post » Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:43 pm

There is an anomaly coming from one of the dwemer ruins, unsure what it would be, and you're asked by one of the Jarls to investigate. Well you get there and after you go so far you're knocked out and all you see is blurred figures speaking in a language you don't really understand before it goes black. You wake up to find yourself in an ancient underground Dwemer city that is actually CIVILIZED, with Dwarves and such, and are being over run by falmer. You have the choice of saving the city or destroying it. Complete with multiple side quests as well as an epic look into the Dwemer culture.

Opinons?

It sounds nice but...
I would rather have the Dwarves not around TBH.

I'd rather have a DLC that allows us to be a Jarl of a town.

well as far as i think DLC will involve Morrowind and Cirodyl, Morrowind bc i think they will send the Dragonborn to solve the Red mountain problem and Cirodyl bc i think he will be the one to kick the Thelmor ass and take the Throne since the dragon blood

I'd just like to buy a house in the Pale, Winterhold, Falkreath and Hjaalmarch.

Or not, unless he uses the elders scroll or another to open a time rift to engage in this, the dwemer are long since not here.
We'll see what happened to The Nerevarine and Vivec in TES:V expansion 1: Tribumoon Isles of the Nine.

My DLC idea: One day you wake up and realize that everyone's sweetroll, including yours, has been stolen. Hilarity ensues as you travel across Skyrim looking for the sweetroll thief, only to find out it was a random city guard O_O

How about this one:
You pick up a mysterious radio signal and upon going to investigate you discover a large projector that takes you to a high- tech city of scientists that have gone insane, blown up a mountain and downloaded themselves into floating robots- oh, wait....

An anomaly, huh? Yes, the long range scanners of the Imperial Skyship Enterprise detected the temporal distortions and Septimfleet has ordered an investigation.

I said a type of anomaly because I'm not sure exactly yet what they would have you investigating

Sounds like it could be a decent mod. But i wouldn't want it to be a DLC.

Yeah the point of my DLC was that there is a small group that has survived and been cut off from the upper world for centuries. Oh btw. No where in the lore does it say that they are "dead". It only says that they disappeared and no one knows what happened to them. Go talk to Calcelmo in Markarth. He will tell you a bit about that.

Meh. I'd rather have DLC in a different country or in a deadric realm. Something with a different landscape than Skyrim. We've seen Dwemer ruins and stuff like that a lot already.

I know, but I couldn't resist. Your idea is great, IF you leave the Dwemer out of it and replace them with a different civilization. The mystique of the Dwemer is that they are gone. Oblivion War Cry New Dimension brought the Dwemer back, and it was awful ( though I do love that mod ). For your dlc idea, new lore would be good to have. Would this civilization be based on any ancient people of our world?

Unless those underground Dwemer were in Oblivion, guess what?

They're dead/gone.

Someone suggested something with the Falmer. It could be an untouched race of Falmer. Or possibly even a civilization of Giants? lol (not likely but I've toyed with that idea some) Who knows. But seeing as how I'm on a console and my PC can't handle Skyrim, mods aren't an option for me.
