DLC Ideas For Fallout 4

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:55 pm

The game isn't even out yet, so there's only one reasonable thing to do: speculate about possible DLCs! So what do you guys think could be in the game as DLC? What would you like to see?

Here's Mine:

Jason Bergman hinted some time ago that Fallout 4 might take place around the Mojave. We know now that isn't true, but it's an interesting thing to say given that the location for Fallout 4 was almost certainly set by that time, and Boston has zero relation to the Mojave desert. Considering Fallout 4 seems to occur chronologically before New Vegas, I'd like to see what the Divide looked like before it was destroyed. Naturally, there's a good chance this will be one of those "go there once and never return" DLCs that we got with both F3 and New Vegas, given that the Divide is invariably blown to bits by a certain Courier. Maybe we'll even see a bright and cheery Ulysses before he went emo.

Thinking Philadelphia might be an interesting one as well especially if Capital Wasteland Brotherhood of Steel is involved they might have moved through that territory to get to Boston.

You mean China. Russia wasn't the big threat, and other cause for the Great War, it was China.

For the setting to be in Boston. Id want the DLC locations to be either Albany, NY and Saratoga, NY. Another one in Cape Cod. Then take a trip to Long island
I feel NYC is way to typical. Which i think should be its own game soon, but lets just see

I think a dlc set in the Adirondacks would be cool and fun to explore. I've always liked the fallout dlc that takes you away from the more civilized areas like point lookout and honest hearts.

1. Ronto, it would be Fallout 4's equivalent to The Pitt.

2. The Abbey of the Road Christian monastery located somewhere in western Massachusetts or in New York state.

Funny thing is, they probably do have the art team working on DLC at this point, since that part of the game should be more or less done this close to release.

But does that mean we'll finally get to see Europe in Fallout?

A Lovecraftian themed DLC set in Providence RI.

Also could be the home to the Abbey of the Road(Rhode)

One where Aliens abduct us and we have to escape their ship. It'll be full of lame tropes and what not.

YYYYYYYEEEEESSSS!!!!!!!

I'm a north NJ guy myself, so it seems to me that going down I-80 to NYC would be TONS of fun. Of course, that would be far too vast for a DLC, but exploring outside of the boston area would be a great idea, and getting down to Yonkers, the Bronx, Bergen County, Long Island or the Hudson River would be EXCELLENT.

Alternatively:

Perhaps we could go out to Cape Cod. It gets infested by great whites in the summer, which could make for some interesting possibilities.

A fun change of pace would be to have a DLC in Bermuda. It could easily be untouched and pristine, though the population would undoubtedly have dropped after a nuclear war - the island depends on desalination plants for a significant portion of its fresh water, and a global atomic conflict would halt delivery of needed fuel for those plants.

I would love a New Port RI DLC! Jews, mystery tower etc. ;)

New York as DLC? Please... NO! New York deserves a own game as large as Fallout 4. New York as DLC would be a waste... to much potential to make it a small DLC...
