I would like to see a campaign of BOS at the (former) Canadian border.

Something like a massive horde of feral gouls and whatnot that you have to defeat or prevent from entering the "Commie free" USA.

I've not finished the main story yet ... so there's something to do ;) no real need for a DLC .... NOW!

What I would like to see is something like a notepad for my pipboy and a mp3-player module for my pipboy too

To be honest after 200 hours playing the game Radio Freedom becomes a little bit boring.....just a little bit ;)

Well the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim did recreate Solsteim from the Bloodmoon Expansion of Morrowind. That is a smaller location, but was still made possible.

I love the idea of revisiting a previous Fallout location (scaled down) as DLC. Also love the blueprints idea

Giant mutant cat as a companion and Chinese or black ops (maby even enclave) stealth armor that lets you see your pipboy while sneaking without it being invisible. (can you tell I hate legendary comilion armor?)

I'd like to see the ability to get more use of Home Plate. It's in the Diamond City market, so why not use be able to use it to start a business?

If you really want to rebuild the world, you need to re-instill commerce. We got a little bit of that with settlement supply lines, etc., but I've found this feature to be very hard to track and manage. I really have no idea what goes between my settlements. I guess the small shops can make money, too, but I've never "cashed in." I guess I should?

This has been said many times, but there needs to be a better way of managing and tracking settlements - individually and in aggregate.

For example, if a settlement generates revenue, we should able to see that...either on a console or on a Pip Boy.

Institute / Railroad = Visit Rivet City to check on Dr.Zimmer / Harkness

BoS = Scavenge Raven Rock

Minutement = ..? Maybe Escort Settlers to the Commonwealth ?

The story could be about Super Mutants from Master's army got control and they overrun DC

so... Why would you go all the way to Washington when New York is much closer and alot eisier to make than all of Washington agian, they would need to retexture and update everything if they tried loading in the DC map so you do not look super textured compared to everything else lol it would be like loading a new gen Mario model as the charicter you play as into the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES.

The institute could Teleport you there .

The brotherhood has the Prydwen

The minutemen...... launch you with artillery ?

The railroad .... builds a railroad ?

Also , no need for retexture , just remake.

I agree. I'd love to see more opportunities for entrepreneurship. I'd like to charge some sort of rent in settlements so settlers would have to earn their worth. If we had the option to open up a shop at home plate, why not let us store items at it and overtime items would disappear (be purchased) and the caps would be put in a safe at the location for easy pick up.

What if we could hire caravans from Bunker Hill and send them out into the Commonwealth for a certain amount of days (that we'd choose) then eventually when they return to Bunker Hill we could go back to them and collect a percentage of what they made?

I'd just like to see a few more opportunities open up for a quick buck, or even a huge sum of money if you have the starting capital.

Would be nice if Bethesda would reply in threads concerning fun DLC idea's, and if theres a chance stuff could actually end up in the DLC. Im guessing development is already that far that forum idea's wont make it?

Never assume. I believe Bethesda is one of the few companies that take these posts extremely seriously. After all, they said they would consider feedback for DLC and we've played their game for a couple months now... What better time than now to give a little feedback and some ideas for DLC?

Keep those ideas coming!

I'd like to see new versions of the weapons and gear from Fallout 3 and New Vegas make their way in through DLC.

Lincoln's Repeater, Tesla Cannon, Perforator, Chinese Assault Rifle, Anti-Material Rifle, and 10mm SMG from Fallout 3

5.56mm Pistol, Battle Rifle, Ranger Sequoia, Brush Gun, Bozar, Lever Action Shotgun, Grenade Machinegun/Rifle from New Vegas

H&K G11E from Fallout 2 (12.7mm Semi-Auto Rifle, could use Institute Rifle as a base)

Basically just all the attires from 3, 3 DLC, NV, and NV DLC. I'm used to playing highly modded New Vegas so I really miss having just a huge selection of weaponry and armor.

Okay. The DC that Fallout needs.

1. Aliens- Something like mothership zeta, but not.

2. Swords- Wile there is a few swords in the game already, I would like to see some katanas or broadswords.

3. "Settlements"- The settlements are cool and all but for more of a loner type of guy like myself. It would be awesome to have a an empty lot kind of settlement in the middle of nowhere that you can build on with no responsibilities or settlers.

4. More Stuff To Build From The Workshop! (Because I am addicted to it Hahaha.)

5. "Lightsabers"

6. Better melee weapons.

7. More mods for power armor. Super jump, super punch, etc.

8. The ability to store caps in containers.

9. Optional powers of some sort would be cool.

10. A bunch of new weapons.

I'm sure that whatever Bethesda comes up with will be awesome. These are just a few things I thought would be pretty cool.

1. Please god no aliens.

2. Swords could be fun, although we've already got several. A katana would look cool with say one of the BoS Uniforms and that mascot head, like that guy from Afro Samurai. A broadsword would go well with the Grognak costume. Maybe a Bumper Sword or something similar for the super mutants.

3. I think you can kind of do that by just sending all the settlers away and not making one of those radio relay towers, but it would be cool to see some more isolated small settlements and perhaps some player housing for different factions. I'd like to join the Gunners and have a little outpost.

4. So much. Mods are already out just inserting ingame assets into your craftables. There are also buildable bridges, ramps, railings, and even elevators. I'd like it free form (build anything anywhere) but I'd still be relatively happy with something like a quest in a DLC to strip an abandoned vault and then redo it. There was a great mod for New Vegas that did that with a schoolhouse.

6. Maybe that Arc Welder from The Pitt, could just add it to The Forged level lists. Hatchets, butcher knives, fire axes, rebar poles, and a ballistic fist (basically Power Fist that fires a shotgun shell when you punch)

7. I'd like to see modifications to PA that make certain weaponry more effective. Torso/Head piece mod that makes you better with a Flamer. Head piece that makes you more accurate with Fatman/Missioe Launcher. Arm piece that makes you better with any Gatling gun variant.

9. Only power I can think of (that's not in) would be bullet time instead of VATs. I'd love to get the slow down effect while still free aiming. It would be halfway balanced because while it would be great close up youd still have to manually aim at long range rather than relying on stats/perks or the almighty Instant Critical button.

I would like one big dlc where it continues the storyline of the faction you chose where you have to deal with a new threat.

  • the remnants of the enclave would be a good threat especially if you chose the brotherhood faction, because it was this brotherhood contingent that nearly wiped them out in the capital wasteland so they may want revenge.

  • decide what direction to push the institute in good or evil, become elder of brotherhood, become leader of railroad, turn minutemen into a proper army.

A dlc on the moon and in the deep ocean

  • space and deep sea suit/power armor (the deep sea armor will be for the pressure of the deep ocean so the aqua perk wont make it obsolete)

  • weapons like a harpoon gun and more zetan weapons like a energy sword

  • space and ocean vaults

  • you could get to the moon using the institute teleportation (could be stolen by your chosen faction if not institute)

general dlc additions

  • stealth suits

  • other x0 power armor variants

  • institute, railroad, minutemen power armor (built only for you)

  • minutemen customization like saints row gang customization (e.g. chose their weapons and armor and able to purchase upgrades for them, purchase the ability for them to have power armor and purchase upgrades for them and purchase upgrades to increase their levels where the max upgrade always matches your level). also if the minutemen defeats an enemy they should gain their technology (e.g. brotherhood vertibird, rail road stealth boys, institute teleportation). this would make the flare gun much more useful.

patch additions

  • settlement foundations to have an unlimited height rather than a limited block/stilt height (would make building a lot easier)

  • faction based settlement building

  • normal stealthboy merchants especially if you wipe out the railroad

  • random legendary power armor drops

  • lock certain furniture for you only to prevent settler use

  • blueprints (e.g. rail rifle and nuka grenade)

  • make legendary mods attach/detach from items

  • upgrade companion default weapons

I'd love to see the Institute power armor we have concept art of :P http://i.redditmedia.com/yzgRZDc4OW6a-hcppYjVnwUN48BTAIcDC0ctq0CURhA.jpg?w=320&s=c1c93dac058f78fafa2592b676563b7b

That and an official endorsemant/version of the X-02 this guy is making: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/4108480/?tb=images&pUp=1

As for weapons, finishing the Harpoon gun found in the files would be amazing - and if they did that, I'd assume it would be in conjunction with an underwater expansion complete with mutant fish and sharks, so that's all the better~? It would also be fun to see bow-and arrows / crossbows available as weapons - since those would absolutely be common and used in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, much easier to make and provide ammo for than lasers or pre-war guns.

I'd also love to see some more done with aliens - having the player come into contact with the ship FO3's main character canonically has control of now, or the Institute discovering an ancient UFO past the area they're digging in underground, or going to the city Lorenzo's father explored, leading to some quests and a whole lot of info about Zetans, would be a bunch of fun to me. If that happened, I'm sure we'd see a fair share of new Alien weapons, and if we found out the real goals of the Zetans with their experiments, that would rock. Personally, I'm leaning towards the "making a better species" thing, with them trying to make a hybrid Alien/Human species (something big in RL UFO lore throughout as well!), but with it obviously being a very difficult to do task (just look at the Abominations!). If that could lead to us getting a Zetan or hybrid companion, through them being assigned to us at the end of the questline, I'd be wicked happy - something like some of the hybrids from UFO abduction stories we already have could make a great one.

European, Chinese cities more areas to explore. Boston so boring...the half of the areas are underwater. I really loved Aquanox, but it's Fallout.

Pls. continue the aliens side quest.

I wonder...the alien mother ship still in orbit?

Amen...as if I'd written it myself.

Bethesda, listen to this intelligent and genteel human.

The only things I would add are a Marksman Carbine, 1911, pump shotgun (Hunting), 9mm pistol (Hi-power), and a re-institution of ammo types (a serious oversight), reloading, and handloads. My God, we have a hundred thousand crafting interfaces, and not a single one devoted to the lost art (well...in the FO universe) of reloading ammunition or creating handloads. The Legendary system, and it's virtually complete reliance on "magic," isn't cutting it, and is actually a step backward in gameplay...and a tad on the lazy side of mechanical design.

Like you, I miss the choice and variety so much it's almost distracting...everything looks alike. We've traded in richness and variety in weapons, ammo, and armor for Bethesda blandness, so they can implement a meh mod crafting system.

Dusters, Combat Armor (and their varieties), and Riot Armor...missed! Heck, add them in as Easter eggs despite strange and arbitrary decisions to delete them wholesale. Use the ridiculous Legendary system to field them if that's what it takes.

I'd much rather weaponry be fixed, with added variety in both weapons and armor, in the first DLC than introduce more areas with mediocre, un-linked storylines...although I am not averse to more, deeper, and complex quests.

Wouldn't mind some ending slides while we're at it.

Again, well done.

I want a new enemy invading/threatening the Commonwealth. Based on islands, natural and artificial, where you can go to by ship or aircraft or, later, transmitter. The enemy should be a newfound conglomeration of different groups to give variety. Why should all old stuff be done again and again?

Then I would like to have something based on a journey to an explorable big location through dangerous country like the GS. As FO is a nuclear fantasy far from reality, strange things could happen in the radiated land.

Better settlement management, more building and scavenging possibilities.

Crossbows and bows. And throwing weapons, could use the throwing motions already in game. Bring them with new human enemies, fanatics, primitiv and half naked but very versed in using the stuff and the environment to kick your ass. Let some of them have perhaps some special mental abilities you really have to fear (so not as "Deathclaw fear").

Better/more melee weapons, flails f.e. and powerful electric stuff consuming fusion cells. Two-handed swords. And spears, with thrusting motion. Spears are among the most effective melee weapons but heavily underused in games. Thrusts are always more effective than cuts anyway.
