DLC Ideea

What I'd like to see is a sort of Easter Egg.... our hero finding traces of (brace yourselfs) The Courier.

Well basically Loansome road gave us a bit of info about The Courier's past..... at least thats what i'd like to say.

Truth is that before Loansome Road , I only thought the courier was your average Joe that got cought up in a big mess , which, after much determination and luck he was able to solve , as skill came along the way.

But after Loansome Road , The Courier seemed to be quite the legend, a skilled adventurer that could overcome a lot of trials.

Thats why I think that a Fallout 4 DLC should be about our heroe following clues about The Courier's past before New Vegas and after so that he could find what finally happened to him.

Because after NV ended our hero seems to have hit the road again towards new adventures, so he could have gotten to the Commonwealth, he might have also been trough the areas of the other Fallout series.

The reason why I wish for this is because, unlike the other series, I never got to know what happened to the courier in the end, since he seems to have just left and dissapeared at the end.

Also if you would be able to make saved games from the previous fallout games (fallout NV at least) have an impact on the DLC's lore as a bonus, that could also inspire those who are new to the series, to give the previous fallout games a try.

Legend that's hardly known in the area that they set up a town before the NCR or Legion got there...I don't think they would of had the time or need to cross the 2,715 miles according to google maps to have set up enough of a trace in Boston and Vegas to work. Would also require the Devs to use details from the another developer and cannonise details of players choice in the character.

Thats why i was refering to the save games of previous series.... take mass effect as a example.

Also from the lore i know... The courier came to vegas from california... which is much less i agree, but he could of used a Vertibird ( which he took as a favor from a NCR/Brotherhood/Remnants friend, or highjacked it , depending on your choices in game)

One problem with the import save idea.

It has to be done at the beginning of a new game. That's how it's done in Mass Effect, when you create your character you get the option to import save details .

I don't even know how importing a save game mid-playthrough would even work. Especially, considering the save files will carry information in different ways depending on the game.

ah i see... would still be an awesome dlc though, and at the end of the quest you could get fallout NV related quest rewards (like ED-E or the vault duster)

Not a good idea, it will piss off Obsidian fans a lot, it's better if Bethesda makes little contact with anything related to New Vegas, its fanbase is hypersensitive and they can cry on the forums for weeks if they see their Courier in anything made by Bethesda. Obsidian is already responsible for a lot of the trolling this game got during its release week. It's better if FNV gets slowly forgotten into oblivion.

I rather see them mention more about Three Dog than about the Courier.
