DLC installation

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 11:06 am

Quick question before i start playing.
Can i install all DLC/story add-ons at once or should i just install one, complete it and install the next one?
I have not played NW since it was released, so i?ve never tried the new add-ons.

I see no problems with installing all of them at once. Enjoy! :tops:

You can install all of them at once, that isn't a problem at all.

As for the order you should play them in, I would first do Honest Hearts, then Old World Blues, then Dead Money, and then Lonesome Road.

They merged it with the New Vegas forum.

So if i understand you right. I can install them all, but should only "activate" one by the time under "Data files"?

Sorry for the lack of English ;)

No, you can have all of them activated at the same time. I was just suggesting an order that you might want to play the DLCs in for story reasons. Some DLCs have overlapping stories, so some should be played before others if you want the full effect of the story. Hope this helps. :)

install them all so you can make use of all the perks as soon as possible. As well as some items.

when you boot up your game after installing the DLCs you will get a message about a new location. And a quest that leads you to that location so you can go to the DLC areas.

Your game may lag for the first few minutes, mine did loading up 4 messages for DLC lagged it a bit but after that it was good :fallout:
