I literally just got this game brand new along with the ps: and while playing occasionally the landscape and surrounding area will flash blue and stay that way or do a sort of strobe effect. Is there any way I can fix this or am I stuck with this?

I am curious what you mean with blue flashing and strobe effect.

What you mean occasionally, near caves, near towns, or just walking ???

Blue strobing happens when the graphics mesh isn't loaded properly but I have only seen this happen in one cave when I was playing.

OP welcome to the forum, as you have just got the game and the console by the sound of it :-

Have you created a PSN user account so you can access the console's online features?

When you installed Skyrim were you prompted to install the latest software update?

Which version of Skyrim do you have, the original or the new Legendary Edition that includes all the released DLC's?

Best we start this one from the beginning and not assume anything.
