I know it is really early to start discussing future DLC, but I think it would be great if in one of the DLC the player sets sail to either the capital wasteland, or somewhere in western Europe. This could work since there is a huge coastline to the east. Re-visiting the capital wasteland would be really cool and nostalgic, and visiting Europe would be equally fun as I don't think Europe has been touched in previous fallout games.
What's your thoughts on possible locations?

I think one of the DLC could be a boat trip to Martha's Vineyards and/or Nantucket Island. Or Cape Cord. Remember Point Lookout?

I'd love to head back to the Capital Wasteland, just for nostalgia.

I'm not too far into the game so far, but I would love to go back to the Capital Wasteland too and see what's left! Especially since the Brotherhood is involved in Fallout 4 it would be interesting to see the Citadel and Project Purity again (also I've only done one quest with them so far, so I'm not sure what all is explained).
Plus by 2087 isn't the canon that the Lone Wanderer had vanished from the Capital Wasteland? So it wouldn't have intersecting protagonists and we could get Three Dog back. I actually enjoyed him immensely.
Other than that, New York City is fairly close to Boston. About 4.5 hours by car. I've always wondered what NYC would be like in Fallout.
There is so much history and locations around Boston. I'd be happy going pretty much anywhere.
