Decided to return to my New Vegas game on my xbox and was told there was an update available, i thought..."its 2014, what are they updating at this point"? so i declined. It had worked fine before, why should i change anything. When i got to my saves it listed none, it had signed me into xbox live and changed my username. No biggie, i shut off the console and started up again. I launched the game from the xbox home screen and my saves were back, but now i get the messege ,"This save game relies on downloadable content that is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Some objects may be no longer available. Continue loading?". Anyone got a clue what this means? Im about to load it up but what could they be changing/updating at this point and how is it going to effect my game going forward. It's the Ultimate Edition if that clears up anything.

Usually it means for a console user that you had purchased DLC but that DLC is no longer present.

You'll need to reinstall that DLC that you had to get this message to go away.

If you didn't have DLC....

It was the Ultimate Edition...it had all DLC with it. How do i re load DLC that was simply part of the game for me?

Check the start screen under Downloadable content and see if all your DLC are active.

If there is an issue and you have the game installed on your HD try deleting it (not the save games) and reinstalling to see if that clears up the issue.

The DLC is on disc 2.

Still point stands, check your title screen and see if the DLC is active. If it isn't then you'll need to install the DLC with the second disc.

it says the DLC are there. They are on the harddrive. It says i have it all at the start screen but it wont load any saves from start screen, they all freeze up the xbox. I started a new game and got all the free loot from the DLC at the beginning(couriers stash and gun runners whatchacallit) when i left doc mitchel's it said the sierra nevada and something else loaded. I then tried loading other saves during the new game and they loaded weird. My guy was naked in some, Unarmed in others. Looks like DLC objects arent loading. Lonesome road saves wont load at all...

So the suggestion is to go under the xbox memory and remove the DLC but not the saves then reinstall the DLC from Disc 2 and see if that works...
