DLC makes game unplayable; REFUND POSSIBLE?

Post » Fri Nov 18, 2011 3:07 pm

After buying and installing the last three DLCs for the PS3 (honest hearts, olbs, LR), FNV has become unplayable. Even in the non DLC world the game will lag out or freeze after 1-20 minutes of playing. As for the DLC itself, it is simply inaccessible.

I know there is no fix. It was announced there will be no further patches.

Is there any route I can take to petition for a refund of my twenty dollars? I think it's garbage that this company sells you unplayable content.

Or maybe your ps3 is old or something? Try getting rid of the dust near the vents and inside the HDD area especially.

Lagging is always a problem with New Vegas since the game engine is old. Calling the company crap won't really solve the problem.

If the DLC is accessible, but is lagging bad, then I don't think that would be a valid reason to get a refund. If you can't access it at all, try redownloading the DLCs one at a time. If that doesn't solve the problem, I guess try calling Bethesda or something and tell them your issue.

I have no problems besides the occasional lag that you are facing. It may be your console. I play on a 80gb, what about you?

The "Your PS3 is old" is getting old. My Ps3 is brand new and has the latest HDD and is experiencing the same things.

The data is not the problem, the condition of the computer/console your using is. Just clean it up, dust tends to be a problem if you never have cared to clean it.

Yeah, bro, it isn't dust that's making the game unplayable after it has been on for ten to thirty minutes.

Even if it was, that doesn't excuse the game's performance when hundreds of other titles exhibit absolutely no problems through hours and hours of continuous gameplay.
